The chicken yakisoba is excellent. Lots of vegetables cooked just right. The sauce was tasty and not overwhelming.I do not recommend the spring rolls. They tasted like they were from the frozen aisle of the grocery store.I was pleasantly surprised to receive this nice takeout bag.

It’s really hard because I enjoy the food here a lot. But without fail they have screwed up my order the last 3 times I have gotten food here. Instead of giving me what I order, they give me a random appetizer without fail, and/or they don’t include a vital piece of the meal. Like the Katsu sauce with Katsu.Every time, I ordered the right thing but they screwed it up and put in a wrong appetizer or no sauce instead of what I ordered. I keep trying again hoping it will be better but every time they get it wrong. I’ve wasted so much money hoping it is right and even tried to physically go in the last time but they still messed it up and of course by the time you realize it’s too late to go back. Very annoying to consistently throw money away. It’s really too bad because I think they would be successful if they literally just followed what was ordered. It really is that simple.

Normally we absolutely love this restaurant. We love the service and the Ramen. Yesterday my bamboo shoots were rotten and smelled of rotten fish. Unfortunately I soaked them in broth before I knew and my whole Ramen was ruined. I tried to pull them out but the whole bowl of my tofu ramen smelled of rotten fish. I will probably try them again and if I do, I will update my review but it was a very upsetting experience. The shoots were also completely dark brown which I should have known was a red flag.. Please be sure to check your ingredients, Botan :(

Katsu is good, but curry sauce was watery and was made with frozen vegetables and maybe 5 pieces of yellow onion. Japanese curry shouldn't have peas in it.

Absolutely delicious ramen. Perfect every single time. The teriyaki is good too but overall less remarkable than the ramen, though that’s purely due to how incredible the ramen is. Try it!

Came here looking for a good bite to eat after getting out of class and was BLOWN AWAY! As a vegetarian, I don't often see variety or quality in the dishes restaurants provide, but here that isn't a worry. There's a vegetarian option in every dish category and all look equally delicious! I tried their tofu teriyaki today, and it is the best I have EVER had. The tofu was thick with a hearty batter and extremely crunchy! Most fried tofu I've been treated to is soggy, so Botan has raised my standards by a mile! Will be happy to be a repeat customer trying everything this adorable little restaurant has to offer!Vegetarian options: Very good variety and quality in vegetarian dishes! A must-try for vegetarians in the are!

Excellent ramen based upon Everett standards, but middle when comparing bto sa Francisco and cend downtown seattl. It's aNice clean little place. Seems like it's ran by husband and wife so not big on chit chat or customer service but very fast and good food.Pictured is custom spicy tokontsu with tofu onions and bean sprouts ($16.50 with tax). Had to spice it up more with Sriracha. If I come back or if you are new I would skip the custom order and just go directly to the chef specials (photo of chef special also attached) as they are cheaper and have more ingredients.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetables and tofu available

Absolutely adorable small ramen house!! Don't let the outside fool you! I brought my family of 9 and gave about 2 hours' notice - they were extremely accommodating, and everyone LOVED their dishes! I was in town visiting and wanted to give my sister, mother, nephews, and niece a good Ramen experience, and Botan delivered!!! Thank you so much!! The con? Canned beverages ? a dine-in drink fountain with free refills would make this place a 10/10. I'd say this is a 9/10, but I'm rounding up because they were super nice, and the food was amazing. THANK YOU!!

The lady that works at this location is consistently very rude. The older man, much friendlier.
