This place has incredible tacos. The asada tacos don't have fatty gristle bits, which is appreciated. My favorite part of this place? The service. The gentleman at the counter (maybe the owner?) is so freaking nice. We usually get tacos to go (and then go have a beer down at the waterfront) and they always hit the spot.

The food here is absolutely insane. We got the quesabirria with consomé and I swear to god, I would bathe in that consomé. Prices are pretty fair and honestly even if they’re a tad high, the food is truly worth it. I will be trying the horchata next time I go because if the food is this good, I bet it bangs.

Where's the beef?!
I was really looking forward to ordering a carne asada burrito from here after reading the reviews for the restaurant. I never write bad reviews, but this felt insulting.
$11 plus tax for a tiny burrito filled with mostly refried beans, iceberg lettuce, and a slice or two of pickled jalapeno. I seriously doubt I even got a TEAspoon of literal chopped-to-bits meat.
Sorry to say, but what a joke. Charge more if you have to, but it was basically like a taco bell bean burrito with much better salsa on the side for $11 plus tax. Really disappointing.
I'm giving two stars for the nice guy at the register and the salsa, otherwise I can't imagine anyone would be happy with that order ever.

I've been here a few times now since I work nearby, for lunch. Service is great, food and portion size just ok. I know some Taqueria's don't have beans, this is one of them. It's hard to pay 13 dollars for a veggie burrito that's the size of my hand, no beans, primarily rice, and lettuce. Sauce is ok. The Asada tacos are a 7/10

This is my go to place when I visit my family in WA. I wish I could go more often but crossing the border sucks so bad.

We came to do laundry nearby and decided to grab a quick bite at this place while waiting. There were no signs at the entrance saying pets weren’t allowed. It was me, my husband, and our small dog. The cashier clearly saw us with the dog when we placed our order and even said nothing when we mentioned we’d be dining inside.
We sat down to wait, and then the owner came over and told us dogs aren’t allowed — supposedly due to health department rules. That’s simply not true; many restaurants do allow dogs, especially small, well-behaved ones. He offered to pack our food to go — but what does that mean for me? I’m supposed to sit outside on a ledge and eat like I’m homeless?
There was zero respect for us as guests. A $5 “no pets allowed” sign would’ve avoided this entire situation. Why didn’t the cashier mention it when we ordered?
We ended up canceling our order. I’ll never know what the food tastes like, because I’m never coming back

The food is fabulous! One burrito is almost more than a person can eat. They have a big selection of meats to go in the item you order. Additionally, they are amazingly speedy!

Good friendly staff, awesome food.
Taco Book in north Everett is located between Providence Hospital and Everett Community College. Taco Book truly has authentic Mexican cuisine that focuses mainly on hand foods. Their tacos are the best tacos I've had in many years; they're basically street tacos made with your choice of various meats, chopped onions and cilantro served with sides of radish slices, red and green sauces both of which pack decent heat (I'm personally fond of the green verde sauce taste). You can get three of these delicious tacos for about 10 dollars. You can eat them there or take home a bunch to enjoy at home. I'm stuck on the tacos, they are so tasty, so haven't ordered anything else, but my family has and they rave about the great flavors of other dishes. Eat in restaurant for an endless supply of smooth salsa to drizzle or drench your food in. The restaurant is family owned and the owner is very nice and helpful if you have any questions. He's a nice guy to talk with when not many people are waiting for food. Service is very quick and the food quality is superb! I know a lot of navy guys from the nearby naval base that routinely come here to eat copious amounts of food before heading back to work on the base. This place is easy to miss if you're just driving by so keep your eyes on the lookout. It's in a small strip mall on a corner that has a laundromat if you want a quick bite between doing laundry loads. I very much recommend making a regular stop whether you're just in the area or buying delicious fresh food to take home and nibble on all day or all out.
