New owners bought the building 12-15-23 and are changing the name to The Ten-01. It's an interesting building and it's a shame it's been closed for so long due to the legal issues of the former owner.

Was a fun spot about 8 years ago with live bands and a cool and weird vintage vibe. Got weirder there with no bands and few patrons when I was back about 5 and 3 years ago and then I read the news. Last I heard the ownership changed, as there had been partners, but the guy who’s waiting on his court date is still holding onto the building which had been closed for over a year. Hopefully he’ll put the place up for sale soon. I knew someone who was actually looking at trying to invest in the building before this group bought the place when Rick Lapinski had it for sale probably about 8 years ago. Also had The New Mexican for sale then and regret not finding a way to invest in either one then.Anchor is an interesting triangle building right next to the train tracks on a bend and I understated a couple or three buildings put together / walls removed to make the current building which is on a slope, so there are stair steps going down to the bar… which I was concerned about. Needed brick work in the back of the building too and old small bathrooms.

A fairly big bar. Lots of room for pool, darts, small dance floor, and bar up front to watch sports on. Many places to sit and get your drink on and enjoy karaoke on a Friday or Saturday night. The staff works hard to serve everyone as fast as they can and is friendly.

Have a rapey good time! If your idea of a good time is being drugged and raped "allegedly" , this is the bar for you. Just Google for yourself & see what goes on here. Be sure to order some of their potatoes which are fantastic, YUM!

Although the area may not have the best bars and not much to say for nightlife. The Anchor absolutely changes that stigma! The drinks are phenomenal with a staff of well trained and educated bartenders you'll always have a well made drink. The food is on a whole other level. If you are in the area this bar is my number one recommendation. Keep it up guys.

Small quiant pub. Really really good fish and chips. Best coleslaw I've had (be aware... They do have some dill in it which is different but very good). Rotating selection of brews on tap and very good Mojitos. I would certainly go back again when I'm at the port.
