Good hearty food with great fried potatoes or mushrooms or pickles, nice salads and now, a bunch of vegan baked goods as well! In a new cozy place on 2913 W. Marine View Drive! Updated from previous review on 2026-01-29

Walking in, you get the vibe of a Chinese restaurant but that’s not totally the case! We had it catered to the great hall a couple blocks away for a comedy show. Delicious foods and plenty of options

Excellent vegan pub! Glad to have an option to enjoy pub classics without worry that vegan friends will not have options.

My husband and I have been here about a dozen times and it's been amazing every time. We typically get burgers, wings, and drinks, and it feels like the closest thing to a casual burger joint for meat eaters. Everything we've tried on the menu has been good, the service has always been fast with the food coming out super fresh and hot, and the price is what you'd expect for vegan specialty items. We take non-vegans here as often as we can, and so far everyone has loved it. The decor itself is kitschy and weird and perfect. This isn't the place for fancy, organic vegan food; it's where you go to feel like you're at your local (delicious) burger joint.

Bayside Café has a fun, lively vibe but misses the mark on food balance. Nearly everything is deep-fried or imitation meat, leaving little for anyone looking for fresh or healthy vegan options. Instead of celebrating vegetables, grains, or herbs, the menu doubles down on greasy comfort food.

The atmosphere is colorful and welcoming, and the staff are kind, but the cooking feels stuck trying to prove vegan food can mimic bar fare rather than offering genuinely nourishing, plant-forward dishes.

The food is terrible. And the prices are outrageous for the quality of food. I spent 90 dollars, 25 dollars for cans of soda!!! SCAM! NO WHERE ON THIER MENU DID IT SAY 5 DOLLARS FOR A CAN OF SODA!!! Absolutely ridiculous. The curly fries were good. Coleslaw terrible. And like mentioned in the other reviews food quality is NOT WORTH THE MONEY. The guy working was very nice.

I didn’t order food, but I ordered a drink. I was very pleased with my drink, and the service was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I went here for the first time this week. The hostess / waitress was very kind and pleasant. But my wife and I weren’t really happy with the rest. The coffee tasted burned and was excessively strong like it was brewed many hours earlier and not fresh - we couldn’t drink it. They didn’t have sugar either. The food tasted good and had a pleasant texture and appearance but it didn’t sit well in our stomachs for a while. The water also had some kind of dirt in it so we couldn’t drink it. The atmosphere appeared a bit dark and dingy - I wish it had a more bright, welcoming feel to it. I hope this business does well and thrives, and I’m sure many will enjoy it, but I think there’s some opportunities for improvement.

Felt like my steak sandwich was missing something. And it wasn't overcooked steak because that was there. Realized after I ate 3/4 of it there were zero onions. Perhaps the cook thought the sprouts were onions?? Curly fries weren't hot or crispy. Overall, would consider giving them another try but only because of limited options in Everett. TLDR: just get takeout. good food, terrible service.

Ive been to this joint close to a dozen times now. ive given it many chances because the food is truly really good, and its one of the only all vegan places in this area.
Get the fried pickles for sure, and the wings are great. as well as the chicken sandwich and the breakfast sandwiches. like i said, great food, maybe a bit pricey but not unreasonable by any means.

But the service is just really, really bad. and im not talking about forgetting a water refill.
- im talking about waiting 45 mins for a menu when theres no other tables waiting,
- waiting another hour for fried apps that should take 20 minutes max,
- Getting the sodas you ordered 15 minutes after your entree,
- getting messy appetizers and having to hunt your server down for napkins (or anything else you ask for. box, silverware, etc) you never got because they often dissappear for 20 minutes at a time even if they just left your table to get something you requested.
- etc

id say just get takeout. the dining experience is truly just frustrating. im not difficult at all, i work in the industry myself, but at this point its kind of just depressing to dine in.

We got the Buffalo wings and steak sandwich with fries and both felt way more filling than the standard non-vegan fare. Paid $5 for a can of hard cider, which was a delightful price to hear. Our server was super kind and friendly and the place had a fun atmosphere. Looking at the social media page for this restaurant, I was really pleased to see they do live music and night markets! I live a little far away, but we'll definitely be back to try more options!

Food and menu were delicious. Rating a 4 because the lavender drinks we got were heavy handed on the syrup, and we had to find someone to ask about closing out our tab at the end.
The food was delicious. I highly recommend the ghost pepper chikkn burger!

We’ve been in Everett for the past couple weeks and have picked up takeout from the Bayside Café on several occasions. We really liked the yo egg burger and the burrito is enough for two people. We will definitely be going back.
