Small hole in the wall but bold flavor! Omg wish I would have tried this place sooner, literally soooo delicious. There's literally nothing to write because it's just that good. Try them, you won't be disappointed ;)

After driving around 20 minutes to try a new teriyaki spot because the two teriyaki places I usually go around Silver Lake / Mill Creek area was closed, I think I might've found my #1 place! I ordered spicy chicken, which came with miso soup and salad. Firstly, the taste was not your typical "teriyaki chicken" that comes in a to go box. They serve the chicken in a foil to keep it warm. Chicken tasted like it was freshly grilled (not sitting in a warmer), which I did wonder how it was going to be given I ordered an hour before closing. The first bite was like holy crap, wow, this is sooo dang good! There were like 3-5 different crazy flavors hitting my taste buds at once. The spicy sauce it came with was something I've never tasted before. After looking at their menu online with more detail, I've come to realize that this place wasn't just a teriyaki spot, but a unique, hole in the wall restaurant that served Korean rice bowls (bibimpap), bento boxes, and sushi - all fused with amazing Korean sauce flavors! They also have Korean fried chicken as well, which made sense. Even the salad was amazing because of their dressing. Like they say, it's all about the sauce, and Gold Chicken definitely has their "Magic Sauce!". I'm absolutely going back to try rest of their menu. It's kind of hard to find this place. It's tucked away in the corner of Target's giant parking lot. I think if the location was more visible to the street, this place for sure will be gold!

Gold Chicken is tucked away in the plaza next to Target on Everett Mall Way (the old Toshi's). Love the food and the choices. I'm super picky about the quality of the chicken and their chicken is great! My favorite is the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl. The bowls come with a salad and 3 gyoza. The service is pretty fast and the couple running the restaurant are always friendly. The restaurant is small and there is not really any place to sit, just plan on ordering it to pick up or using a delivery service. It's a little hard to find an online menu because all the delivery services pop up first and then you are viewing inflated prices. I prefer to just call in my order for pickup.

Quantity over quality; you do get a LOT of food, but lacking in quality. Confusing menu, inhospitable staff. Food was tolerable, but that was about it; gyoza was over fried and yakisoba was too salty. I normally split for 2 days worth of meals, but today I just ate what I could tolerate and threw the rest away. Didn't even get to eat inside as I'd planned because my food was automatically bagged up and I was escorted to the door. (Although that's when the lady working became helpful, she opened the door for me.) Will not recommend or return.

Ordered honey garlic chicken bowl received a lot of rice and some chicken but no honey or garlic sauce on rice or chicken. SalAd in bowl had old elements of lettuce. Salad dressing not good tAsted old to mayo. Bottom line no honey or garlic seasoning little chicken dry with a few cups of very dry rice. Not what I

This place is very welcoming inside. It is so clean, and the artwork/furniture is all new looking. I was greeted by the owner even. The food is the best! I've eaten at countless teryaki joints but this one blew me away with how delicious the food was. I will come back even though it's out of my way. The spicy chicken teryaki specifically is amazing tasting. ?Vegetarian options: Multiple.Kid-friendliness: Multiple

Update: I don't know what the owner is talking about, because this is very obviously glass and it made the roof of my mouth bleed. Notice how he doesn't even offer to refund my meal. I still have the glass piece. This used to be my favorite place, but I literally just pulled a sharp piece of glass out of my mouth from a to-go box with Korean fried chicken. I'm really fortunate it got stuck in the roof of my mouth and I didn't swallow it.Be careful. To the restaurant, throw out any food that was around broken glass or open bags of rice.
