My boyfriend and I frequent the BECU ATM nearby every so often and if Asensio Coffee is open then we will stop by. They have seasonal specials which is always a win for my boyfriend and I as we love trying out new specials. The staff here greeted us warmly and was very patient with the customer before us who was buying a gift card and helped us with the same professionalism and friendliness. We stopped by recently to grab their fall drinks and I saw on the sign that the drink I chose pairs well with a pumpkin spice whipped cream. It is extra so I decided against it. We found a spot to sit at while we waited for our drinks and not only did the employee hand delivered our drinks to us but told me she added the pumpkin spice whipped cream for me. I thought that was super sweet of her that makes the visit all the more special and reason to visit. They do also have a reward system that we joined too.
The store is well maintained and there are plenty of seating and tables for all sorts of groups or sole patrons. They have some handcrafted goods to buy as well. We asked if they were dog friendly and they said dogs are welcome so we definitely will stop by more often as the weather gets colder.

So much CHEAPER than Starbucks and so much BETTER coffee too. There’s not a lot of places that make white chocolate mocha with powder white chocolate these days but Asensio does it right. THEY’RE LEGIT!

Nice small coffee shop in Federal Way with fun to talk to staff. Coffee is really good too, I usually come in on a weekend and the pastry and food choices are pretty slim and at times none, not sure how stocked it is during the week, but still coming in for the coffee and smiles.

We loved it, but we had a weird experience. 4 older gentlemen were very obvious that they wanted our seats. They even faced me the entire time they were talking to each other. Also, they seemed to move closer to us to push us to move. I asked the baristas if this is a normal thing, and they told us to stand our ground! So, we did!!!

The place is very nice and the staff were nice as well. Perhaps it was because I came in 20 mins before closing but my drink was just not very good. It was an iced drink that tasted lukewarm. I will definitely give them another shot soon when I am in the area.

I love this cute coffee shop! I will say every once in a while (i'd say like every 2 trips for me, i don't go that often though) the espresso definitely tastes like it hasn't been timed in a while :( but i can taste that when it has been timed it is very good coffee!

The baristas working today had a horrible disposition this morning. Cold to me, warm to others. Customer service influences my decision to support again.
The only person who greeted me was the customer coming in as I was leaving. I will not be a return customer. The coffee did not have the flavor I requested, it tasted like regular coffee.

Great coffee at a “real“ coffee shop. The vibe is cozy and I appreciate having a place in the area where you can go and sit. They serve poverty bay coffee which is yummy, and have some pastries and breakfast sandwiches too.
