A real gem South of SeaTac.
Very authentic Korean food with amazing in house made Kimchi!
Friendly and fantastic service!
In my rating, this one is the best in the area. Not only good for superb taste and the quality of the traditional beef soup, but also the staff's superb service and attitude absolutely impressed an old Korean goat like me. I am very satisfied. You really should come to this restaurant!
Not many choices to choose from, but I liked their seolleongtang and seafood pancake. The owner forgot to give us our rice until we were almost finished, which was a minus. I will come back again!
Good food, good service. Will come back.
I had the best experience at this restaurant. Fernanda, the waitress, was incredible—absolutely impeccable service. The food was some of the best I’ve had on this trip; it tasted homemade and was truly worth it. The restaurant is cozy, and I was really impressed by the overall service. I hope to come back soon. I highly recommend trying the 설렁탕 (seolleongtang).
Every time I go, it's so delicious, the staff is friendly, and the main dishes and side dishes are filled with sincerity, and they don't skimp on the ingredients. It's delicious and clean, so it's not a waste of money.
I was originally a clear soup fan, but when I met my husband, I started eating gomtang and seolleongtang. To be honest, I ate it without any special inspiration, and then I came across the best seolleongtang and gomtang not in Korea but in the United States..^^
This is the best restaurant for me ^^
Be sure to try it~~

I sampled three standout dishes: the oxtail plate (꼬리수육), beef short rib soup (갈비탕), and the seafood pancake (파전). The oxtail was impressively flavorful, albeit a touch dry in some areas. You can sense the care that went into it--and taste the immense depth of flavor that seeped into the oxtail meat. They purposely don't completely season the dish to completion so you can season it separately with the seasoning salt they provide you on the side. I actually preferred it without the additional seasoning though.
The short rib soup was a surprise--those were some legit "Dino" ribs. It was tender, with just the right chew, the broth was clean and well-seasoned. The meat will literally fall off from the bone and you can use the scissors to cut it up to smaller pieces to eat. I did wish for more glass noodles though, but the balance between the rich meat and refreshing broth was spot on.
The seafood pancake that I had was very different from the one I have tried in the past. It's thick with veggies and oysters. While I would've liked a bit more chew from maybe squid or other seafood, it was masterfully fried--crispy outside, moist inside, and an impressive portion size.
A special shoutout to their radish kimchi, which definitely is one of the the top radish kimchis I have tried thus far in my life. It was crunchy, slightly tangy, slightly sweet, mildly savory spicy, and refreshingly addictive, comparable to some of the best I've had in Korea.
Service: 9/10
Service was efficient and attentive, with dishes served promptly via a rolling cart. With a group of three, we felt comfortably full without being overwhelmed. Servers checked in just enough without being intrusive, which I appreciated.
Ambiance: 8.5/10
The setting feels authentic, evoking a traditional Korean restaurant vibe. Their private rooms are a cool aspect of the restaurant as they are also slightly elevated from the rest of the ground floor--ideal for bigger groups or anyone seeking a more intimate dining experience. It's one of those spots that subtly transports you to Korea, especially with those little details like the layout and decor.
Overall, BigPot Seolleongtang delivers a satisfying, authentic meal with great service and ambiance. Definitely worth revisiting!

As soon as you step inside, you are greeted by a cozy atmosphere that blends with traditional Korean elements the wooden accents create a relaxing environment, making a perfect for both casual dining and special occasion.
One of the standup dishes here is the oxtail soup rich and flavorful, the broth is meticulously, prepared, allowing the natural flavors of the meat to shine. Each spoonful offers a comforting warmth that’s perfect for this cold season, making it a must try. The beef short rib soup had the same broth base and the noodles that pairs with it gives it a delightful freshness.
Don’t forget about the seafood pancake either Krispy on the side and fluffy on the inside. The texture is delightful and it pairs perfectly with the accommodating spicy dipping sauce.
Overall, this place offers a good dining experience with us inviting atmosphere and standard dishes. Make sure to bring friends or family to share the experience

Don't expect meat in the soup. If you found any, it's paper thin.

Really good seolleongtang! All the sides were packed so nicely. My only complaint is that the soup in togo order leaked in my car, so I had to wrap them in my own plastic bags

Really delicious and incredibly sweet owners. Seafood pancake was especially good
I recommend this place over other Korean beef soup restaurants. They had the best quality and taste overall, and the portions were also bigger than others.
