Definitely miss the restaurant before the inside remodel. Now it feels like I am in a hospital, bright lights and all white walls. This used to be our favorite place. The atmosphere changed and the staff, yikes. Last time I went there, the waitress forgot my order. I am sitting there forever waiting. I finally had to get up, find the waitress. She said I never ordered...WHAT!!!??? Luckily, the manager was kind and gave us a free dinner since I waited an hour. No apologies from the waitress. The food was always decent, but the staff is just as important as the food. We found our new Indian restaurant in Des Moines.

Horrible food the bbq platter had stale meat.. the lamb which is hard to make chewy and tasteless was exactly that. It was just bad. Choice is spices is miserable they dont know flavor. The karahi was bit better but again lacked flavor. Naan were good so that's the 1 star.Service was ok not bad or good. The atmosphere was odd though.. weird sign about "don't use your hands". (I think) I get the reference but it's quite disgusting to dictate how people eat or maybe even racist for an establishment to put it up.

OWNER IS DISGUSTING!!!!!! He called my child “INHUMANE”. My baby is 1 years old and she eats like a one year old. She got rice on the floor and I told the owner I would clean after her. I even had the vacuum already starting the process of cleaning. He proceeds to have a confrontation with me about how inhumane my child is, yelling at us in front of everyone dining as well as scold my ONE YEAR old for how she behaved. We’re regulars here but I cannot fathom a grown man confronting a one year old and calling her INHUMANE! Even in this picture you can see the waitress trying to keep him back from verbally attacking us. UNACCEPTABLE!

We have been coming here since we moved to the area over 12 years ago. It's so good and everyone is always very pleasant. The owner himself comes to the tables to see if you're doing OK.My 10 year old calls it a 'fancy restaurant ' which shows with the atmosphere and food but the prices are still quite reasonable for how much food you get. The buffet is great too for a quick meal.Anytime we have guests from out of town, we bring them here for some delicious Indian food!

Came for Valentine's Day dinner. The lamb is delicious and the vegetable puree is also delicious. The most important thing is that it is served with pancakes, which is very unique. There is also a red rose for Valentine's Day dinner, which is thoughtful.

Good food, very addictive. Been eating here for 10+ years. Owner is an interesting guy (see the signs), waitresses are no-nonsense, but always very polite. Buffet will slow you down if you overdo it. There's hot sauce to spice it up, the food is set to mild (buffet). I've never seen anyone being told to eat naan with fork and knife, haha! For a strip mall location, it has a bit of character, and finally, only wish would be a full-service bar with perhaps some Indian music videos. Size of the place precludes that, I suppose.
