Authentic Korean food as well as BBQ. Good selection of side dishes and prices were fair. Would recommend.

Not vegetarian friendly. Asked to make a stew from scratch without any animal products. The stew came with meat chunks in it. They took it back and merely pulled out the meat re-served it to me, as there were meat particles. But even more annoying was the elevator music that was on loop. Yes, the same short song kept playing over and over and over and over and over and over and over again...

We went for lunch asked how long the food will take and server didn’t even answer the question.. food did come out relatively quick.. the we found long white hair in the food and they did replace the food but it was evident they don’t use hair net while cooking. Honestly, I wanted to just leave..if I was owner I would have been so embarrassed I would have not even charged for the food. Really disappointed.

We had a great time last night at Hae Song. Jae Su, Song and the other lady please forgive me for not knowing your name. Did a fantastic job waiting on us it was a great end to a hard day of work for us. They were so attentive and very kind as well. The food was awesome we had the Korean BBQ feast for 5 well that was plenty of great food. Loved it all my favorite and probably because I love spicy was the Spicy bulgogi. Don't get me wrong the beef bulgogi, both styles of short ribs yum 😋 and that chicken was awesome. We loved the ban chan and all. Of course my daughter taps out early leaving her significant other and myself to carry the load. The atmosphere was great this is a great restaurant to come to and bring family and friends and have great food enjoy yourselves and just unwind. Whenever I am in the area this the place for me. We left happy about the great night we had here. If you haven't been it is definitely worth going to just sit back relax and let the food cook and eat and the dipping sauces are money too. We will be back again Hae Song Thank you all for a great night.

1st time here and we really enjoyed the mackerel! The beef rip soup was delicious as well.

The food was delicious. However, I order it for my dad’s 83rd birthday dinner. However my mom told me that we didn’t receive enough of the ban chan and the quality of the ban chan was low. Plus I only received one set of ban chan when I had ordered 2 servings of galbi. I also asked for lettuce on the side and didn’t receive any. I wonder if it’s because I ordered in English vs Korean. Now my family no longer plans to order here.

My favorite Korean restaurant in Washington. If they open another branch in Oregon, I'd visit there every week. My favorite dish is Gamjatang(spicy pork backbone soup).

This is a great Korean restaurant and perfect for large groups. My son loves Korean food and we always take him here for his birthday.

Excellent KBBQ place with good food and large tables for big family gatherings

We enjoyed the K BBQ lunch and the grilled flounder. Reservation made using Google map and it worked well.

I don't even know where to start. Just came out of there because the waitress made my mom and I sit down at this awkward table stuck by the wall when there were plenty of other normal tables available that other customers who came by after us were sat. She then took our order, never came back to give our side dishes while serving 5 other parties that came after us. We literally asked for servers 5 times while they passed by us. Felt like they were purposely ignoring us and giving us bad treatment because we are not local or familiar faces to them. Tried to call our server to ask to cancel our order but she proceeded to pass right by us to talk with her other customers sitting right in front our table. While we were walking out of the restaurant, nobody tried to stop us to ask what is going on. Will not be going back.

made a togo pork bone stew and pork belly w/squid stir fried.
The pork bone stew smells stale and foul.
They used spoiled meat.
and almost half of the stir fried have cabbage. but the cabbage was too bitter and just like rubber. Pork belly was too dried.
Upset stomach, disgusting and disappointed.
wasting money.

It's the worst.
I normally don't leave reviews, but I'm so angry that I'm posting this.

Last week, I submitted gamjatang and Osam bulgogi, but there was no squid in the Osam bulgogi, and it was filled with only a few pieces of pork belly, steamed cabbage, and uncooked glass noodles.

When I called and talked to them, they told me to come back and say they would do it again, but since I couldn't come back right away, I received credit.
A few days later, they said that was all they would bring, so I ordered extra gamjatang and felt sorry, so I even gave them a tip.

As soon as you eat gamjatang, the soup and meat smell like old savory fish, and I think customers don't know if you make the soup thicker. How long does it take to get a gunny smell,,,,
The pork belly in Osam Bulgogi is as dry as if it was reused, and it is full of cabbage that has been steamed like rubber. The side dishes are also very lackluster.

I was starving to the core, and I immediately threw it all away because I was worried it would upset my stomach. I was going to call again, but I was afraid to eat there again, so I'm just leaving a review. It's so annoying both times.

Never sell food to customers that you think is not right. Rather, it becomes more negative.

Haesong Restaurant used to be a good restaurant in Federal Way, but I am completely disappointed.

Never thought we would stumble upon in this restaurant, it is a hole in the wall. The Ahjummas are helpful and provide us great
service. The food was awesome! Lots of good banchan (side dishes). Love my soybean paste soup. I know the meat was fresh because we were full but not the “I feel bloated and about to throw up” type of full. I love this restaurant! This is now my new favorite Korean restaurant. Will be happy to go back. Parking is easy too.
