Came back after a long time away with the fam because we are apparently gluttons for punishment... We ordered nengmyun and all of our noodles were way undercooked. No chewiness to the noodles at all, which is basically the minimum you could ask for with nengmyun. We ordered a variety of beef KBBQ and the marinated beef was all WAYYY too sweet. This would have been fine, except the service was godawful even for a Korean restaurant. I'm Korean and know that at Korean restaurants, you're not going to get the best service. But dang the servers didn't even come to the half of the restaurant we were seated in... the one time we managed to flag someone down to change our charred grill, he was pretty rude and was throwing plates on our table. We literally all left the restaurant thirsty because we couldn't get anyone to come fill out waters LOL Federal way has so many great options for Korean food and for real this aint it. I absolutely would not recommend.

The food was fantastic! The staff were busy but very attentive. The food was fantastic!! The place was very busy, but you still got everything you wanted or needed. Did I mention the food was FANTASTIC!?! With generous tip it ran over 40 bucks per person, but damn, the food was fantastic!

The meat was high quality and good, but a bit pricey. For 3 people, it came out to over $140. Still, we would consider going again if not for the horrible service. We asked for more water several times and we're told they would bring it, but they never did.

A decent kbbq federal way. We do love their banchan selections and the 3 sauces they offer to go with the bbq. If briskets is what you usually order, I wouldn't recommend ordering it here. Their briskets are so dry and tough (mirak or so moon nan jib, to name a couple, offers better briskets). Besides the banchans, their combo bbq also comes with steamed egg and soybean soup and that's a deal! Most restaurants doesn't give steamed egg with combo so we do appreciate that. Overall, we'd most likely return for bbq, but definitely skip on the brisket.

Crowded, which considering the pandemic is good? But it was Easter, the wait staff all had masks, and the take out that I ordered was as good as the last time I ordered there. Wish they were closer to home.

Food is not good, the service is even worse. I have given this place many tries as it is close to home, but each time the food get worse and worse. The soups do not taste like Korean food, it very bland. Do not recommend.

Pricey but the quality of food is nice Portion is a lot. We ordered a set for 2-3 persons but it could fit even 4.

This is our only go-to-Korean bbq that we keep going back to. I used to love ayce korean bbqs which are also in the area as wel; however, ever since we found this place, I no longer go to my old ayce kbbq anymore. 1. Food: I have tried a variety of dishes there, and I love these the most: Pork Belly, Kimchi Stew, Korean Pancake and Stir Fry Squid. I'm not a huge fan for bbq beef so I usually do 2 orders of Pork Belly, it will come with a steam egg and a soybean paste soup. Highly recommend Korean pancake bc it's just very delish and full of toppings (seafood). My bf love love the kimchi stew here, I have tried so many time replicating it but fail (I even made kimchi myself), the taste is just so unique and authentic! All the food is always consistent and come in big portions *clapping* 2. Customer service: All waitresses here are nice and efficient, they don't try to be nice but naturally nice, they give us our own time to grill the meat and enjoy our moment, not like somewhere else that always tried to grill meat for you, rush and end up messing up your tongs. We love all the waitresses there, even tho they don't really speak English well, they check up on us with a smile and always unhesitant to refill the side dishes. One time I took my 5-yo niece there and one lady gave her a set of colorful dinnerware, she was very happy and ate more than usual which I'm very happy and appreciate the waitress's thought! I think we at least go here 2,3 times a month and always leave happily, I admit that the price is a little bit higher than the others in the areas, but it comes with a bigger potions and savoriness. I would say the price come with the quality, from the meat to the soup to the side dishes. I'm not even Korean, but I have a huge love and admiration for Korean cuisine, that's why I'm very delightful for finding a good and friendly restaurant that I know if I come there, I will leave with satisfaction. Thank u Hae Song :)

Decent Korean barbecue with good portions! Just making a note that they will add gratuity for 5 or more people but not let you know when you are paying so you don't need to add extra tip

Dinner reservation for 7 people. We got a few orders of Beef Brisket, Pork Belly for BBQ meats, a Seafood Pancake, a couple of Bibimbaps, a Chicken Fried Rice, a Spicy Beef Soup, a Steamed Egg and a couple of other items. Got plenty of rice bowls as well. Service was pretty good for the most part. It was a busy night, so there were a lot of people inside the restaurant. We enjoyed our foods very much and liked the taste of all of the Korean foods. Our overall dining experience was great once again as we are regular customers here.

Food was okay not terrible but not so great and price was bits expensive. The servers were very busy among themselves in the kitchen area, not once came and asked if customer need anything It wasn't worth coming back for average food, high price and bad service

Love the marinaded short rib and beef tongue. The cold noodles (Nengmyun) is tasted. My new favorite bbq spot!

If I was reviewing of food alone I would give 3 stars. But holy crap is the food expensive! We had 2 entrees with a bunch of sides and no drinks, enough for 2-3 people. The bill? $127... I've had Korean BBQ dozens of times at all different places. Never have I gone over $100 for our family. And we usually order more than this. Now on the food. The meats are marinated well and flavorful. But I can't stop thinking about how they served me raw onions with our grilled beef ribs. Who eats raw onions with any dish? And the ribs were so damn chewy. You know it's bad when you have to spit out the meat into a napkin. Everything was else was pretty good. But not $127 good.

We live in Edgewood, and this place is a staple for us. We eat here maybe once a month. On a particular occasion, for $125, we had excellent Korean bbq for 5 with all the fixings - they have the bbq-at-the-table set up with the ventilation hood. Quality of the beef was noteworthy. other days, if you are just looking for a solid stone bowl bibimbap or other basic, they do that too. Unspectacular looking place, and not inexpensive, but consistently solid offerings.
