IHOP is generally a reliable place for a good meal. While they may be best known for breakfast, ime lunch and dinner are good too. This restaurant had quick service, and my food was served hot. Thank you.

Recently my husband and I went to this IHOP for breakfast. It was an important day for us because it was to commemorate the place we met for a meal after we were first introduced. We went into the restaurant the day before to request a certain table, and the manager Fernando agreed that he would save us that table for the next morning and he was true to his word. He knew that it was a special day for us and to our shock, he hand delivered a small vase of roses to our table. Totally unexpected and incredibly thoughtful!! In addition to that kind gesture, our server was extremely attentive and provided us with excellent service. I wish I could remember her name. Thank you Fernando, for not only making sure our request was well handled but also for the added surprise of the flowers. What a shining example of customer service and leadership for all that work with you!

Honestly this place is kinda a gem in the middle of a random spot next to winco. I always forget how good the service is here until im driving somewhere on the weekend usualy thinking where is a good place to eat? Then see this place off the corner. Their still fairly good price and havent had any issues with their food ever. Which is a huge accomplishment compared to other resteraunts in this town. Can't say the quality of some of the other places is always good or up to stuff. I think the last thing I got from here was blueberry pancakes on the side of a omelet meal. Usualy aim for egg whites and mushroom style omelets. Would sit down and dine in here more if I had family close by.

Hi, I’m posting because I believe upper management needs to be aware of this. The food that was sent out was half burnt and tasted terrible. We would never ask for anything to be remade because we’re genuinely afraid of what might happen to our food if we did.
This feels like an everyday experience lately, and it’s extremely disappointing — especially when we’re spending an average of $50 each visit. We really need to do better.

This was my first time eating at this location. It was good as far as available parking out front, available seating inside and service. The atmosphere was pleasant. The Reed I ordered was subpar, which was the breakfast sampler platter, everything was good on it except the serving of ham. Apparently, they did a major cutbacks on the ham portions because I only ended up with two small triangle, cut pieces of ham, instead of the original portion of the whole piece of ham. And for that, I gave them four stars out of five. Other than that, this is a very pleasant, cozy quiet Out of the way place to have dinner.

IHOP is always solid for breakfast you pretty much know what you're going to get the pancakes are always nice and fluffy and it's easy and quick casual dining. It's great for kids and who doesn't love all day breakfast.
This is the cleanest and nicely maintained IHOP I've ever seen. Service was great!

Absolutely unacceptable service.
I understand that people have bad days, we all do. But when you’re working in a restaurant, taking your bad day out on customers is not okay. Our server, Dulce, had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant.
I asked for a cup of coffee, and the cup she brought out had a lipstick stain on it. When I politely asked for a clean cup, she got visibly irritated, like I was inconveniencing her by expecting a clean dish. Then I asked her to wipe down the seat next to me that she had just spilled water on, and again she acted annoyed, like I was asking for too much.
She would come around here and there to check on us, but every time we actually needed something, her attitude got worse. If I reminded her of something she forgot, she would get even more irritated, to the point where she rolled her eyes at me. Completely unprofessional.
What really made me mad was how fake she became once it came time to pay. Suddenly she was all smiles, hoping for a good tip. We didn’t leave a generous one, and her attitude flipped again. I asked her for a to-go box, and she handed it to me in such a rude, disrespectful way. Like she was mad that she didn’t get a tip she clearly didn’t earn.
Even my family felt the tension she was putting off. The energy was uncomfortable the entire time, we were just trying to enjoy a meal and instead felt like we were walking on eggshells around someone who clearly didn’t want to be there.
It was honestly frustrating to sit through a meal and feel like I was being treated like a burden the entire time. Dulce wasn’t having a bad day, she was just being flat-out disrespectful, and then getting upset at the consequences of her own behavior. No stars

I was coming to town for my son's wedding and needed a place to invite 21 relatives for a Sunday breakfast. A few weeks in advance I called a dozen local restaurants, and the Federal Way IHOP welcomed us. Kayla booked us and delivered! Upon arrival, Fernando, the manager, introduced himself to me and directed us to our pre-set tables. Dulce was our server and she immediately made us feel at home. Food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. As we continued to order more, Dulce and the kitchen staff kept up. We were all loving the efficient service, friendly staff, great food, and comfortable surroundings. It couldn't have been any nicer. I was so pleased and relieved at how great our experience was! The hostess even took a group photo for us outside. I will be sure to visit this IHOP whenever I am in town. They are top notch!
