I'm not sure but I think they have a new cook or manager The fish pieces are smaller skinnier that's no surprise 🫢 Just don't order those add on's for $3.99 bay shrimp $ onion rings the little bags they used to put them in were drenched in grease and I bit into a onion ring and the onion was full of grease 😲 spit that out right away in my napkin. Those BAY SHRIMP are really really not the ones to deep fry!!! The fish (cod) was okay Ivar's best was at Its worst that day. P.s please don't serve greasey fish on top of my crispy fries.☹️ Sorry Ivar's

I ordered their 5 piece cod and a side of cornbread. I haven't been to an Ivar's in years, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet. It was nice sitting down at a restaurant and not being bombarded by loud music. The interior is small, but the seats are still roomy. I would post a pic of my food, but I ate it.

A nice quaint store to get fish and chips. Lovely chowder and breaded fish. The bathroom is average cleanliness.
Food is excellent especially the chowder whether you like red or white, fish is also tasty I wish they would cook it a little longer though.
First time, I was allowed to have my puppy with me while dining....
