Jjajjangmyeon and tangsuyuk were pretty good. On the pricier side. Owner was friendly.

Been a while visit again. Seems to be a new owner or cook. Salty and old noodles. Don’t expect too much

It was absolutely disappointing. The jjambbong didn’t taste like jjambbong at all, and the noodles were overly starchy, as if they had been soaked in starch before being served. The tangsuyuk had a strong pork smell, and most importantly, the sauce didn’t taste like tangsuyuk sauce at all.

The only reason I even gave a star is because the staff was friendly. Honestly, I wish I could take away the stars given by those who rated this place five stars.

The Jajangmyeon and Jjamppong I had in Korea were delicious. The service was also good.

Food is mediocre. Feels a bit pricey. Jajangmyeon is meh. Seafood jampong had very little seafood despite price. Tangsuyuk is overcooked and bland. Chicken is awful. Only nice thing was the service. The lady was so nice.

First, I want to say that this place has gone downhill here over the years, especially their customer service, specifically the owner in her late 50s with long black hair. Every time we order a few meals. She only gives us one napkin per dish. The worst is when we ask her for more napkins. She would provide us with a disgusting look and count out one napkin. Remember, the average meal is about $18-$26. With that price, it should include more than (1) napkin. Then again, she is probably prejudiced; this only happens when we go with our friends who have darker skin tones. And I noticed she's very friendly and sociable with customers with fair skin. With that said, we only experience this disgusting and stinginess when we are with our friends. Words advice for the old Asian with long black hair: you should try to see all people's nationality as money because hustles would never discriminate against any form of currency.

foods were so watery. I almost threw up when I tried the first bite.

The waitresses are super kind and attentive. The food is always delicious! They raised the prices a little but for the portions and taste, it is so worth. Best black bean noodles around!

The food was okay, and it could definitely be better based on what I paid. The food is pricy.

It used to be good but after the owner change, the price went up and the taste has gone downhill. Idk what they put in there but after I had the jjajangmyeon here I had diarrhea 4 times that day and the next day. Waste of money! If I could get refund I would, I ended up throwing out half of it because the taste was bad and the noodles were all stuck like rice cake and overcooked. Never going back there, definitely NOT worth the price they have on their " food". So disappointed because it used to be one of the better ones around the area. So hard to find a good jjajangmyeon place these days.

Worst Jjajangmyeon & Jjambbong. I don't know if the owner here tasted his own food. I don’t think I saw it. It's a waste of money. Even if you have money to throw away, you have time
Don’t go because it’s a waste~~
It's honestly tasteless and management doesn't do anything about it. The jjamppong is sticky and looks like water used from a mop, the jjajang has a strange oily smell, and the noodles are so swollen that they don't mix well. After taking one bite, we all spit it out. I didn't ask for a separate refund because I didn't want to make a fuss, but I returned the food less than 3 minutes after receiving it, but the kitchen didn't take any action and ended up throwing away the $45 on the floor. There's nothing wrong with the cashier, but come back and eat again next time..?... Owner, can I run a small business like this?
Overpriced disgusting food. Paid $45 for 1 jjajang & 1 jjamppong. Jjamppong taste like they used sewage water. Jjajangmyun noodle is overcooked & sauce is so oily and has a weird aftertaste. We had one bite each and spat out. Brought it back to cashier, no action taken. No refunds, no apologies. They said they’ll make it again, ok i am not waiting another 20 min to risk this mess. Ended up buying some precooked stuff from hmart for dinner..

My first time trying jajangmyeon I don’t really know if I can compare or have much knowledge on how it should taste but I thought it was good, also got the orange chicken my baby loved both. Chicken had a nice subtle orange flavor not too overpowering to keep you eating more, sides were also different flavor/texture to have kimchi is a nice touch to add so was the radish. The most friendliest people ever which makes this place above 5 stars. More than enough food for lunch & dinner I highly recommend Malri Hyang without a doubt.
