I only found out this place exists from a work friend. It's kinda hidden at the back of a strip mall area and is very unassuming. Interesting menu with all kinds of stuff but I stuck with the mandu. Had the bulgogi, pan fried pork, shrimp and pork, and japchae. They were all very, very good. The home made kimchi is also very good if you like spicy kimchi. This place should be having booming business but it was pretty quiet when we were there. My picky wife even loved it and said we should come back. Get in here and give it a try.

The food here is incredible. Tried three different types of dumplings for lunch and took a burrito home for dinner. All slapped. Cant wait to go back.

Social media hypes this place up but it is not all that.Way over priced and customer service sucked.Spent about $170 for my family of 5 and was better off going to palace Korean BBQ with that type of price.Dont let the pictures and social media fool you.Definitely won’t recommend.

Delicious! We had the Bulgogi burritos and they are amazing! We also had the pork/veg/tofu mandu, which was good (maybe a little too heavy on the tofu) but looking forward to trying more of their mandu selections next time. We particularly liked the mandu wrapper noodle as well as the burrito tortilla as both had perfect texture. No frills inside, but the feel and ambiance could be improved by diming the (unnecessarily) bright lights by 30% or so.

Ordered dumplings, korean fried wings and kimchi from the mandu-ya menu and the hot flavored fries and bulgogi tacos from the gogi on the go menu and DAMN. Everything was so good. Order of favorite item:1. Fries2. Dumplings3. Tacos4. Wings5. KimchiI like the way you order and how quick the turn around is to get your food. Had a party of 12 with 5 different orders and took probably 15-20 mins for everyone to get their food.Fun flavors, nice staff, will be back again

I had huge expectations for this place and have visited all 3 menu changes. So... I ordered a monster combo with fries, a 20.00 before tax and tip. This meal was an utter disappointment from the beginning. This thing comes out and looks like it was just born and not a monster yet, maybe 5 inches, but definitely not a monster. Not pqcked loose and soft. I try to stay positive and take a bite, which seems to be rice with korean spicy pork sauce. At my 3rd bite, I start to see and taste a little bit of the meat that seems of good quality but yet only teased. As I kept going, I faced the reality that I ordered spicy pork flavored rice with lettuce and a little bit of rice. Pork itself is not that expensive. I know they can do better. As for ratio. 60% rice, 10% pork and 40 % lettuce, and all sauce. Not how I would want it. But at this point, I will never return. I did not give a one star because the flavor of the meat itself was good and good quality. Honestly, this is 5.00 meal. The pictures are my 3rd bite and halfway in.

My family had lunch here , the food was over the top. All of us had the buggogi rice with sunny side egg on the top with the siracha mayo, quesadilla w/ buggogi. Service was great, they brought our order to the table and the ambience was clean throughout the place. Would recommend this place who wants a taste of Korean/mexican food!

It's not real easy to find non-pork and even veg mandu, so I was super excited to see a review for Mandu-ya. We live in West Seattle so it's not exactly a quick hop. But we were on our way back from Tacoma yesterday so we made a special trip. The restaurant is set back in a slightly dismal shopping center that's hard to find due to construction detours, but SO worth persisting. We had the japchae, chicken, bulgogi and sweet corn cheese mandu split among 4 people. The sweet corn cheese mandu was a surprise. It sounded like something we wouldn't enjoy, but we all loved it. The decor is minimalist. But you're not there for the decor -- you are there for the handmade on the premises, delicious and healthy, dumplings! NOM NOM!

Have been here only once so far. Delicious dumplings, bigger in size and juicier than the dumplings I knew from Chinese restaurants. Amazing "Korean pancake" and tasty sauces. Would go back repeatedly if it weren't such a drive from Seattle.
