Horrible staff, we came to get free 5 ounces of ice cream for free because it was free on the day we came and the worker was being unreasonable and tried making us pay the difference for one of the cups because we had 6 ounces instead of 5 so we transferred 1 ounce into the other cup that was 4 ounces and it was pretty even and then the manager came and we finally figured it out. The problem wasn’t in having to pay, the problem was that we were not supposed to pay, the staff just didn’t calculate correctly and made us be the ones that sounded stupid.

I really like this menchies place but today when I went, the cashiers were being unreasonable. They were making me seem dumb like I was in the wrong. I was left really disappointed.

Came to support a local business after a school play with a big group of kids. The employee yelled at the group to “get out” if they got ice cream because they were closing in 15 minutes. This employee had an opportunity to earn some tips and blew it with that behavior. Very unprofessional. Sadly the business owner would have served us all but the employee didn’t care to. I hope the owners takes note and trains employees on what to do if a large group shows up closer to end of day and not to kick them out but instead keep serving them. Some kids would have had seconds but didn’t want to after that behavior. We will choose a different location to support as that is not a way to treat your customers.

This location is the best. They are rarely ever out of anything and the staff is wonderful. They don’t even shame me for coming in so frequently ?

Their customer service is very bad. The place is very dirty and they look at you like you’re a thief, not a customer that pays for their product. Very dirty place that creates disgust. Can’t take my kids anymore there.

Everytime I doordash this place they severely underfill the cups. Whoever is completing the doordash orders needs to be fired.

Took my wife and son to Menchies to get some frozen yogurt on a whim. After putting together our frozen yogurt bowls, I got to the counter only to be told that they do not accept $50 bills. The young girl working behind the register had the look of panic like I committed some sin for pulling a $50 bill out of my wallet to pay for a $33 total. Talk about millennial anxiety! Meanwhile, my wife said that she had some $20 bills out in the car and stepped out the door to go retrieve those. At the same time a young black girl behind the counter, turned around and went to get the manager who came out and stated the exact same thing. The young girl behind the register told me-as if it mattered-that they don’t accept $50 bills. I asked them if they had a sign to which the young manager pushed the tip jar out-of-the-way to reveal a small sticker on the counter next to the register that says they take nothing larger than a $20 bill. Meanwhile, my wife walked back in through the front door with $20 bills. It wasn’t the product, it was the fact that a girl standing behind the register, who wasn’t at the register and heard my wife and saw her go back to our car- in the rain, went to the back and got a manager. Only to repeat a simple statement that could be posted in view before we even attempted to get frozen yogurt. So my wife and I made the decision to go to another store. The photo that I had attached is a posting on the register at Menchie’s located in Puyallup. Low and behold, they accept $50 bills.
