This is the first time I’ve heard of such a thing. I ordered Chirashi because I’m allergic to salmon and specifically requested any fish except salmon. However, the restaurant said they would charge extra. Fine, I’ll never spend my money at your restaurant again.

Best sushi I've had in years. The otoro roll was divine. Genuine skill put into every sashimi/nigiri. Very impressed, highly recommended.

We got the very fresh tempura style gyoza, a breath of fresh air from normal frozen gyoza to something really tasty, the fatty tuna roll, sumo roll (multiple fatty fishes on top, loved), yellowtail sashimi, salmon belly, and tamago. Would order all again! The quality of the fish is some of the best ive had this year and better than some more expensive Seattle restaurants. No notes.

I visited Nori Sushi on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, right as they opened, and was greeted warmly from the moment I walked in. The service was quick and attentive, and the quality of the fish was outstanding. I had been searching for a place that serves O-toro, and Nori Sushi did not disappoint! Every piece was incredibly fresh. My husband and I wanted to test the menu before placing a large party order, and we left more than satisfied. I will definitely be ordering a sushi platter from them soon. Highly recommend!

Solid service and local sushi at Nori tonight. End-to-end quality experience and ingredients. Polite staff, comfortable seating and quiet atmosphere. Sake was especially great. Well done.

We have eaten sushi at hundreds of restaurants- Tokyo, Kyoto, NYC, FL, CA, TX, CO, HI, Europe, Korea, Taiwan, China, etc etc. Strip mall sushi has usually simple nigiri and sashimi and lots of rolls. Most sushi restaurants’ fish quality is mediocre. On that surface level this place is no different, a 7 table place with 4 counter stools, with a simple average menu. However, the quality of the fish was unusually high, on par with restaurants 50% higher in price. Getting this level of quality at a strip mall is unusual.

What a gem! We tried a little of everything and nothing missed the mark. Incredibly fresh and tender melt-in-your mouth nigiri, creative and delicious rolls, and excellent sides as well, like the seaweed salad. I usually stick to rolls but we got the Omakase Combo and really enjoyed all of what came in it. With that, plus the Rock N Roll (fun, on fire), Ultimate Roll, Kappa Maki, seaweed salad, and included miso soup, we ended up not being able to finish it all (for the first time at a sushi restaurant) and brought some home. Don't miss the yuzu sorbet!

Kid-friendliness: Quiet but several families came in while we were there. Seemed welcoming to kids. I'll bring mine when we go back.

Middling option for the area. Was surprised it wasn’t stellar after seeing the reviews but none of the dishes we got stood out. Teriyaki chix and katsu were less good compared to other local spots. Their salad was actually much better than the often small and basic salads that accompany dishes at other similar places. Friendly staff and my order was ready on time.

It may be that their best dishes is sushi and we didn’t try any so worth a try if that’s what you’re looking for but a pass if looking for other types of dishes imo.
