So Moon Nan Jib

I think we have found our new favorite Korean BBQ in the greater Tacoma/ Seattle area.

Meats and banchan were SO on point. We will 100% be back again soon.

Our 1st visit but not our last! Located in an unassuming complex full of good food options, So Moon Nan Jib is a great Korean BBQ spot. The Banchan is fresh, portions are very good and the BBQ meat options are delicious. Even though it was very busy, the service was attentive & very friendly. Loved it ♥️

We ordered 'marinated combo B' and the pork neck soup.

The soup was delicious. The meat was extremely tender. Maybe a bit spicier would be nice, but this is Korean food so I understand.

The BBQ was tasty and definitely enough food for 3 adults and 3 elementary school age kids.

Service was good. The staff kept coming over to cut the meat and keep everything moving.

The side dishes were great and were continuously refilled.

What can I say, delicious. Amazing Korean food. I loved the Bon Chon dishes. I highly recommend the BBQ.

I have been eating here on and off for six years. During my most recent visit, the food’s quality had decreased significantly, and the familiar faces were gone. I’m pretty sure this restaurant is under new management now. Disappointed.

Food and service is amazing! but expensive. Makgeolli @ $17 per bottle is rough. We would eat here more often if the prices were more reasonable.

First of all, the food at this restaurant is really delicious, but what impressed me most was the service! Every server was incredibly thoughtful. We ordered grilled beef intestine, and the server, worried that we might not know how to eat it, specifically helped us grill it and explained which sauce to pair with each ingredient. When we asked for takeout, they provided us with fresh sauces instead of letting us pack the leftover ones. The owner even noticed that I was struggling to carry all the containers and kindly gave us a small box to hold everything. It's been a while since I've encountered such excellent service at a restaurant in Seattle. I will definitely be coming back!

My wife used to love the Gamja Tang (pork neck bone soup) here and we’ve been coming on and off for 5 years. We hadn’t been in a while so we decided to come by, the restaurant is remodeled and the menus are changed so we’re not sure if ownership changed. She was pretty disappointed in the soup, she said the herbal qualities were all missing, I tried it and thought it was fairly bland and the meat was fine.

The hot stone bibimbap we got was pretty good, and the banchan was good too, unfortunately unless they change their soup base back we probably won’t be back.

I think you should eat jjambbong at a Chinese restaurant, not a Korean restaurant.

We are military and have been stationed in South Korea for over 3years before, this by far has been the best Korean BBQ restaurant here in Washington that we have been too. One of our Korean Soldiers recommended us here and it was worth every penny. The sides tasted super fresh, the meat also tasted pretty fresh and not old. We loved every bit of it. The servers were great and constantly came over to our table to check on us. Shoot even the water tasted good, def didn’t have the that tap water taste. Overall my family and were extremely satisfied! 10/10!! We will be back!
