Wow! This was such a bad experience, we left before we got to the food part. These two women (we'll use this term loosely to remain family-friendly) wouldn't even dane to make eye contact with me and my family. Eventually, I just asked if we were to seat ourselves. Then she bothered herself enough to meander over to tell us just to say she would check with the server if she could seat us. Let me be clear, this place was NOT busy at all. Whoever is the manager of this place needs to get their act together, because the employees are terrible!

Stopped by The Rock Pizza in Federal Way and sat at the bar. The parking lot is large but shared with several other businesses, so it can still feel busy. Restroom was available and clean. The overall vibe was fine, but the service at the bar felt slow and understaffed, which impacted the experience a bit. The food was decent but nothing special. It’s the kind of place I might come back to if I was already in the area, but not something I’d go out of my way for.

Upon arrival, we were met with two other Families ahead of us. A waitress came to the front lobby to advise everyone that there would be a 20 to 30 minute wait for a table because they were shortstaffed…. we were there at 9:00 PM and they close at 10:00 PM, we had planned on eating for 45 minutes to closing, but after 15 minutes of waiting, people decided not to wait for a table and decided to start leaving one by one, as well as my group of people. We figured by the time we sat down, if we ever got to sat down, that 10:00 PM would be nearing and it would be too late to order and eat. After all the waiting people in the lobby decided to leave, we left as well and ended up going to IHOP down the street.

I tried to order a drink here with my passport and they denied me saying the liquor board doesn’t accept passports which makes no sense because if you google it the liquor board in the state of Washington says online passports are valid proof of identification when purchasing alcohol. I think she just denied me because she didn’t know how to read it. I’ve never once had that problem anywhere else, especially the rock as I go to multiple locations all the time and get served no problem. The way it was handled left a poor taste in my mouth and I will not be returning to this location at all.

Abby is absolutely the BEST BARTENDER IVE EVER HAD!! she makes the YUMMIEST buckets I’ve had here. She’s super attentive and friendly while being busy. 10/10.
