I recently had my first experience with Korean Fried Chicken at Vons Chicken in Federal Way, and it was fantastic! The service was incredibly friendly, and they patiently answered all of my questions.
I ordered the Crispy Fried Chicken in both mild and spicy varieties. The large legs were meaty and crispy with a hint of sweetness. The spicy version was just right for my palate, offering a delightful heat that tingled my tongue (more intense than a peppery feel but not quite a 3-star spice level).
I also tried the Crispy Yang-Nyum Chicken (spicy). These large meaty legs were equally crispy and had an amazing sweet and spicy flavor. The spice level was more intense, aligning with a 4-star spice level that provided a satisfying heat on the tongue, mouth, and throat.
I highly recommend Vons Chicken to anyone looking for delicious Korean Fried Chicken. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu items!
Finally went inside this place after 2 years of being open. Want expecting the fried chicken to be SO GOOD! Use a little soy in the batter and garlic. Can't really capture the goodness in words. If you have a urge for Good fried chicken, you gotta try this place. Takeout is a popular choice at dinner time. Generous portions.

Good food and prices. A lot the variety of options and the potato tornadoes were tasty.
We ordered the Yang-Nyum chicken and the "Real garlic" wings. This causes me to question "is there fake garlic?"The garlic sauce was very mild, almost bland. It needed something to punch it up. The Yang-Nyum was very good. I chose the spicy as they only offered mild or spicy. It was very spicy for my tastes, I would prefer if there was a medium offering should I return. That being said, I couldn't stop eating it even though it was burning my lips and tongue.Don't bother paying up for the wings, the regular chicken pieces are phenomenal.Also the bottled water was very fairly priced.

We come across this spot when we googled Korean Fried Chicken in Federal Way when the usual ones we go to was closed. Plenty of shared parking with the nearby business within the plaza. We ordered the Honey butter chicken with Cheddar powder and it was so good! I wish they put a lot of that cheddar powder coz it was a good pair. the crispy yang-nyum was ok. I was looking for a zing of Korean flavors but there wasn't any. i know it's a sauced fried chicken but i wished it was more crispy. The pickled radish and mini salad it came with was good.
We came in for lunch on a rainy Saturday. Surprisingly, we were the only diners for the entire hour we were there.Quality of food -- we ordered 2 different kinds, the crispy and garlic and opted for chicken wings (additional $1). We were happy with what we got. The wings were crispy and piping hot (had to wait a few minutes to cool down). I had mine with kimchi fried rice. The chicken came with a side of coleslaw and pickled radish, which was a perfect to cleanse the palate. Although, this is fried chicken, the food was not greasy.They cook the food as you order it so if you are expecting a fastfood-quick service, this is not the place to go.The price is commensurate to the amount and quality of food that you get. Not sure why people are complaining that it is expensive.Service-wise, the server came to in to check on us. Reviews say he does not have customer service but we found his demeanor to be a little shy.The only suggestion I have is more napkins lolz. But you can always go wash your hands in the restroom after.The place is very clean, no greasy smell lingering in the air.
