We got the chicken teriyaki dinner meal , the chicken is amazing; a good quality and the teriyaki sauce was excellent; it wasn't too thick but has the right amount of sweet & salty taste, the sticky rice was perfect and the salad & dressing was good as well. The owners are a older couple who are very nice with great energy.. We will be going there more often now that we know about this place plus to support a amazing couple like that in our community.

This is the best teriyaki in pierce county. The older woman and man that work there are very patient and their teriyaki chicken is a very nice portion with plenty of rice, and their sauce is excellent very flavorful... it's always very clean ... I've never had a bad experience. I try to eat there at least 1 time a week. I dine in and take out, but mainly dine in.

This is probably the best teriyaki. The chicken is so tender and they don’t burn it but it has the perfect grilled char yet the meat is still tender! The sauce is also so nice it has depths and the flavor is very delicate nothing heavy and it isn’t too thick. Finally the price is still $10 for a plate of chicken; Incredible!

Very Small and disproportionate portions, not much flavor and everything tasted like mayo because they put the salad in with the hot meat so when I get home its just warm lettuce and the dressing covers everything making it all taste like mayonnaise. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else for your teriyaki needs.

I’m impressed with the bad reviews this place has gotten. Being a local, this is one of not the only restaurant that has affordable prices for its food. $12 for a chicken teriyaki when there are other places that charge over $20. You have to get to know the owners. They are super kind, sometimes it might be hard to understand them as you order but they try, and that’s something to appreciate.

We gave this place 2 chances, first time I ordered the lady/ owner on the phone was quite rude and hung up before I even finished my order, we still decided to pick up the food. It was decent, the portions were small and it didn’t seem fresh, yet it wasn’t horrible. Second time around my fiancé called for a pickup and the same lady rudely hung up on him. Don’t even know how they are still open honestly.
I just went in there and spent $50 and on three very small meals. And frankly it's the worst teriyaki \ Asian food I've had. After only a couple of bites I called the establishment and asked if there's a way I could bring it back in and get a refund she said some derogatory words in another language and then proceeded to hang up on me I would not suggest anybody go here I am I've never asked for my money back on food before and that's saying something.

Very small portions. Beef didn't seem like other places I've been to. I don't know what part of the food tasted like bleach water, but it wasn't pleasant! The Cook came out front and sat down on his phone with the gloves on which he used to make the food and actually scratched his head

The food is real good love the chicken teriyaki . One special note they don't speak English very well and they have a hard time understanding English. Speak slow and as clearly as possible. Be patient the food is worth it. Being kind will get you places and good food thank you .
