First time trying Al’s Downtown Diner and it did not disappoint! Everything I tried was delicious! Biscuits and gravy were hot and fresh, Eggs Benedict with ham were perfectly made and I absolutely loved their hash browns! On top of good food the service was top notch! Very attentive and pleasant staff! This place has it all! Hidden gem in Ferndale!

We always try to support local establishments. This place is a hidden gem. Great food, excellent and very friendly service. Pancakes are huge and the blueberries very fresh. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything in the menu.

Perfect, no frills diner. Great food, quick service. This place is great. We had chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy and both were absolutely delicious. My over medium eggs were a perfect over medium. I hope I’m in the area again just so I can stop by Al’s.

I've been going to Al's Diner since it was in Blaine and I make the drive from Blaine to Ferndale now and it's just as good as it ever was! I always like to give Al a hello when he's in the kitchen. Best diner ever!
Quality Diner breakfast, biscuits and gravy is savory and the French Toast reminds me of my Mom's, which is a tough feat to accomplish. I've got to go orders and ate inside, both are great experiences.

I did not even eat here today but I just wanted to take a second to recognize Al’s diner as I had a negative experience somewhere else in Ferndale. They are extremely friendly here and are always very quick to get the food with outstanding quality. I recommend them as they have never failed me after coming in week after week no matter how busy.
