Up here visiting my birth mom who is undergoing cancer tratements. While she was at the doctor (girl thing) I tried out Al’s . GREAT breakfast sandwich, three kinds of hot sauce and fast service at lunch
Sadly , there will come a time, hopefully much later rather than sooner where I’ll be up here to settle affairs. I know I’ll be going back to Al’s
Great chicken fried steak homemade hashbrowns and delicious homemade biscuits. Old school vibe listening to various elder locals discussing in town gossip while enjoying my meal alone was intrinsic of the old downtown diner 👍
The food is amazing. The staff are great and the waitress remembered the kind of dipping sauce I had ordered from the day before. The only negative I can say is it can get very loud there.
