This place is LEGIT! I’m originally from New Orleans and this is the best spot to find Cajun cuisine in the PNW.

If you want to know what home cooked Cajun food tastes like go here. Drove an hour just to get it.

I heard about this place yesterday and gave it a try today. Moving here from the South has been hard finding food with spice and richness. This place checks off everything you can think of. It’s rich, seasoned, mild spice (personal preference), great value for what you’re getting and the staff is amazing. I got the seafood plate, jambalaya and gumbo ($53.00 for everything before tip and will feed us for than one meal). I haven’t had food like this in two years since moving here, until today I had given up on finding food up here.

Very friendly and polite! From New Orleans. Great food. I had surf and turf and the coating on the shrimp and chicken for me was perfection! Very light batter, thin tender chicken! $19 for three strips and lots of shrimp and fries. Dipping sauce was very flavorful! A little out of the way but very worth it. Banana pudding was also very good

Some of the best Cajun seafood I've ever had. Don't let the storefront fool you. This is amazing.

This place is amazing. Got the shrimp & grits, and had some of my friend’s shrimp po’ boy….just phenomenal. The lemonade was awesome too, dont sleep on that! I can’t wait to go back and try some different items, truly some incredible food and something to get excited about.

I ordered the Large Cajun Mac and Cheese and am sadly very disappointed. It is a basic white cheese sauce with parsley. Plus, it was 15 when the menu said 10.
Plus side the Lemonade is amazing and worth the $5 price point.

My wife and I just went to Battles Kitchen and we are quite happy. The Seafood and Catfish Po’boys were very tasty and the portions were huge! They are not 6” subs, probably 12” with lots of seafood. And the peach cobbler was excellent! We look forward to going there again.
Be aware that it’s not a sit-down restaurant but rather a window between the seafood store and salon. Look for the lighted “OPEN” sign because there is no sign saying Battle’s Kitchen.

Hidden gem with excellent food! Shrimp Poboy was great! Catfish was delicious! Their Cajun tarter sauce is a MUST TRY!
Seafood Mac was good enough to warrant a second order to go! If you're in the area and like good southern style Seafood without a stuffy atmosphere give this place a try!
