So so good! Seafood boil is worth the hype. Small business, so you do have to pre order the seafood,it’s totally worth it. Paid $30 for one seafood boil which is great! The size was perfect, the sauce was delicious and the people were very friendly.

Having lived for many years in the Gulf Coast, this looked like the place to fill a gap in the local restaurant genre, so I tried them.
First, the online information doesn't really do justice to what this operation is. It's a lot more like a food truck than an actual restaurant and I think they'd do better if it was an actual food truck. The location is easy to find but the actual operation is through a single, unbranded window - kinda stealth mode.
The service was very courteous and prompt even during the dinner rush. My order was prepared and delivered to my vehicle in reasonable time.
Online there were menu items that looked appealing that I wanted to try but when I arrived, they weren't available on the menu. The entrees that relied on seafood were absent (despite being next door to the local fish market) and their "signature" banana pudding was not available. So, I ordered chicken and shrimp, and side orders of jambalaya and red beans/rice.
The entree portion was large enough for two people. Neither the chicken nor the shrimp were anything remarkable, if anything, a bit bland. The sauces provided were helpful. Both would have benefited from better seasoning, especially some heat.
The jambalaya was the best thing in the order. It was full of andouille and well-seasoned but could have benefited from more heat.
Red beans and rice are one of my favorites. This version was not. The beans were fairly dry and lacked the cooking liquid that coats the rice. This version was closer to rice and peas but without the heat.
I'm glad they're in the area but they have lots of room for improvement.

Our son who just turned 13 has really wanted to try the seafood boil. We surprised him with the meal. 10/10 he said. The owner is the nicest person. Told us he will have his meal and the other 4 we ordered ready at the pick up time. We will be back to order. Thank you for making his Birthday dinner yummy.

Great portion size, everything was full of flavor, and then the sauce takes it to another level. Looking forward to trying more from the menu.

We used to drive two hours to Seattle to eat crab boil with a min. Bill of $150. It’s so dry no flavor but we everywhere we went they serve crab boil so dry.
NOWWWW, after trying battles kitchen we now go here. We are forever loyal customers and will never waste our money anywhere else.
Not only does it actually taste like it’s suppose to but its customer service is by far the best we have ever experienced!
We showed up at Battle’s kitchen in Ferndale WA at 5pm while it was snowing. The owner was in his car was ready to go home after closing down the restaurant early but my husband told him I was pregnant and craving crab boil. We had never been here before and he said if we waited an hour he would go get the items and be right back to cook it for us. We waited and he came back with everything opened his shop back up sold it to us and then closed right after.
I was amazed, I had never experienced anything like this before. For an owner to go out of his way like this specially on a snowy day means a lot. Forever grateful and he just gained more loyal customers!

I'm surprised this place is next to the lummi seafood market. Checked all my marks as to flavor, service, and atmosphere. My favorite part was the sauce with the chicken strip backet, the tangy sour flavor just pairs so well with the Cajun seasoning.

I showed up today expecting this to be the best food I have had in this state based on the reviews. I was not disappointed! We got the boil and catfish platter and everything was perfection. If you’re in Washington and haven’t been here, go. Don’t drive to Seattle. Go here. You will not be disappointed!

Y’all weren’t kidding. It is a whole in a wall. Look for the OPEN neon sign to order. The food was so incredibly seasoned and the flavors were just perfect. Partner and I had the seafood poboy with the yummiest Cajun fries. And the staff were so friendly!

First time coming here after I heard the owner was from Louisiana and if I wanted authentic Louisiana cooking this was the place. I was not disappointed at all, I was so impressed with how incredible the food was. My wife and I both had the shrimp poboy shared a strawberry lemonade and a seafood Mac. The fries are seasoned so well that you are envious of how perfectly seasoned they are. They need no dip, they are incredible just the way they are. We are in talks to go back the same day just to try their Pecan and Jambalaya. Highly recommended delicious food and great staff!

CRAWFISH!!! I missed those lil bugs so much!!! I grew up in Texas and have family in Louisiana so this food is apart of my culture and something I’ve missed deeply since moving up north. 10/10 The guys were also so incredibly kind who worked there. Good vibes, great food. Y’all gained a regular!
