Great if you have kids and are not into parenting. Kids running everywhere screaming. Like a McDonald's play area with beer. Not for me but if you have kids and need a break it's awesome

Consistantly friendly! Lots of family options...painting classes, line dancing...online events, ie: governmental debates. Last visit, I played table games with friends

I have been here a few times and I have experienced two employees: a very nice woman and a very rude guy. The woman deserves a 5 stars! The guy deserves to have a 0. Beer is good but I don’t care to go places I’m made to feel like an inconvience. Tonight I had the unfortunate experience of the guy with a bad attitude. We walked in at 7:54 pm. The chairs were up on a whole set of tables. They close at 9. When we walked up to the counter he told us “just so you know, I’m doing last call in like 10 minutes so this will be your only drink.” He seemed disinterested in helping us and like giving us that warning was going to make us leave. When I said that seemed early he said he had a lot to do tonight. When I asked his thoughts on the three different hazy IPAs he shrugged and said they were all good and when I asked about differences he said they were basically the same. Then a friend we were meeting went to order and she just looked at the wine, wasn’t even going to order, and he said he wasn’t going to open any bottles even though they have a variety and again, it was an hour before close.

Due to his desire to not deal with customers, he lost business. At least 4 of us would have gotten another round if last call wasn’t 10 minutes after we ordered. I actually like the beer here, but customer service is huge. Also, if a brewery has over 10 beers that the brewmaster assumingly worked hard on, what gives an employee the idea that they should say they all taste basically the same. That’s just disrespectful to the person making the beer. I won’t stay if I walk in and he’s working again. This wasn’t the first time he was unhelpful and rude…

While visiting the northern Washington coast, a good friend of mine said, “I’ve got to take you to an amazing brewery!” This was a great idea since traveling the nation full time and visiting breweries is my thing. 43 states in four years and literally hundreds of breweries visited and put to the test. Today we walked into District Brewing in Ferndale, WA. My review?… I have zero idea if they are the best brewery in the Northwest. What I do know is that they are NOT ADA law compliant. As my wife and service dog lead me to the counter (oh, btw, I’m site impaired and an obvious entire leg amputee), we were greated by a young man who immediately informed us that “you can order your beer here but then need to take the dog outside”. My wife explained that I’m site impaired and obviously need help walking, and he replied, “that being said, you can order here, but then you need to go outside”. We informed him that he was not being ADA compliant, and elaborated on the fact that she was a working service dog, specializing in site leading and stability, and he said, “sorry, people have brought service dogs in before and they chewed on the furniture so you’ll need to go outside”. We went outside… to Fringe Brewing down the street. They, and their beers, were amazing!!!

Today you would not allow my friend Max who is disabled inside with his service dog to drink a beer in absolute violation of the Americans with disabilities act Not only will I not recommend you I will tell my friends about your actions and then they will not recommend or visit and they will tell their friends You may as well close the doors now.

Happy to see growth in our neighborhood! (Lynden/Everson) District is an awesome family friendly location, with lots of games for everyone, great pizza and wing options, and a wide variety of beers and ciders to choose from! They also have a great fenced in outdoor area for those warm summer evenings! Can’t wait to see more familiar faces visiting and coming together! I highly recommend the Lynden location for anybody looking for a friend meetup, date night, or a family friendly dinner spot!

Family owned businesses with great drinks and food… yes please! By far my favorite family friendly restaurant of all time. Fast staff, clean environment and great atmosphere. If I could give this 10 million stars I would. For people commenting “no kitchen at this restaurant” it’s because Ferndale is really hard with food licensing and they’re doing their best to work on it. Also the “drinking around kids” isn’t that deep it’s just a family friendly restaurant. Love this location

Stopped here on a Friday 12/29/23 at 3:40pm and they are not open despite Google and the hours posted on their door saying they open at 3pm. Plus their beer's not that good other times we've been here. Beer is served in plastic solo cups.

Cute arcade in the back. Quaint rooms you can meet up in and hangout. They only allow two samples a person so unfortunately couldn't find any beer or cider I liked. The bartender wasn't very friendly either. There's no AC, it was physically uncomfortable to be inside for longer than 10 minutes.

Lots of Ferndale pride. When we visited they finally have Juneshine organic booch on draft. We will be back to help kill the keg.

I have been here a couple times since opening and loved the vibe and beer selection was great with 2 very friendly bartenders. My last visit didn't go as well unfortunately. Took the family here for a late lunch on a Saturday about 3:30 pm. The lone bartender was less than enthused, no smile and dry. We were then informed that the food wait was at least 45 minutes. There was maybe 20 people total there that day. Might have been a fluke, but I was not stoked on the slow service and not being able to get food. We left hangry.. after just 1 beer. I may be reluctant to go back if this is the new norm.
