Place to go for best steaks and service in the area. Don't be fooled by it being in a casino! Shout out to Sean our server....excellent service...great attitude.

We had a great dinner on a Friday night. Incredible server John was attentive and patient, made our dinner so fulfilling. Food was excellent we had the Escargots (14 for 10$ !) Beef tartre, tomahawk steak with lobster mac cheese and mashed spinach. With a casino card you get a 10% discount. Total bill ended up being 162 without the tip. John tried to make sure we had the best price also as he was able to tweak the system so we saved money on sides.
We had plenty of leftovers and very full.

As I read some of the previous reviews, I sure hope the new chef reverses his changes!! The flavored butter is gone, just standard butter for the bread. The appetizer with the crab dip and carrots and celery and crackers cut completely! The pallet cleanser is still provided. The changes are very disappointing as this was what made this steakhouse stand apart from others. We referred to people and even brought some friends who enjoyed the experience too! The steak sizes are now just 8oz or smaller, presented on a big white plate. 🙄 No lower prices, but sizes small. We felt corners are totally being cut and this too was our last visit on the 11th this month. You can’t make these changes and expect loyal guests continue! It was just disappointing and we will not be going to this steakhouse anymore. Sad. 😢

The food was exceptional except my steak was more rare than medium. It's very common, I guess. The only thing is I wish they would update the menu has prime rib on it. I specifically came for the prime rib, as it was my birthday. So, I was very disappointed. Shawn, our server was outstanding even with our old lady shenanigans. It was nice to go to a higher end resturant. Next time I'll go on a Sunday when the DO have prime rib, otherwise it is not available.

Pros:
The steak was cooked to perfection.
The sides were delicious.
The ambiance is elegant
The palette cleanser offering is a nice touch
Cons: Server was nice but seemed to lack some training/confidence
Bathroom is out in the casino so you have to walk through the noise and chaos. They should make one inside to keep the ambiance elegant.
Reservations voicemail recording should be updated as it’s unclear if its confirmed or not
Bussing and attentiveness to table settings while be dining need major improvements

Would I return? Uncertain

As mentioned before the steak was decent for being so far out of Seattle where fine dining steakhouses are of abundance

The service was great. But, the whole meal was covered in burnt garlic chunks that made everything bitter. Even the balsamic reduction was bitter. The green peppercorn sauce was inedible, though it was recommended by a friend. The Brussels undercooked, but the flavor was better, the Macadamia nuts a nice touch. The filet was good once I scraped the burnt garlic off, and well cooked. Overall, I could have made a better meal at home. The atmosphere was nice, but needs refreshing.

The food was awful… my one time a year I go to this once amazing steak house has gone Walmart in their food department. Miss the lemon butter and the mash potatoes tasted like powdered potato’s. Bring back who ever ran it before and get rid of this current guy!

What was once the best restaurant in Whatcom County is now below average. What made this restaurant stand out was the quality of food, the attention to detail, the friendly staff and manager (Jay was very good at his job), and the things that other restaurants don't do: flavored butters with good bread and salmon pate with crackers. I sincerely hope this restaurant returns to their old ways!

Great food and service.

The little details that once made this place special are gone. No more tableside touches, no flavored butter, and instead of delicate puff pastries on the escargot, you now get basic buttered toast. While the service was good, all three of our steaks were heavily seasoned with an overpowering amount of salt—completely different from our previous six visits. To top it off, despite booking a table for three, we were squeezed into a booth meant for two. Disappointing changes from what used to be a great experience.

On previous visits, the manager would always come around, check in on guests, and introduce themselves, adding a personal touch to the experience.

This time, there was none of that—it feels like they’re cutting corners at every level, turning what was once a quality experience into something disappointingly cheap.

We were very disappointed in the lack extra little absences we always looked forward to. We don't get out very often and we usually try to book a time here. No more tabe side salads, extra crackers with salmon pate, etc. Food lacked that special touch, and the desserts were not appealing. We loved our waiter. The atmosphere was just so so.
Very disappointed.

I ordered the Ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive and professional. This is definitely the most upscale restaurant in Whatcom County.
