So sad to post such a low review. Ambience is great. Customer service (other than your waiter) sucks. I had a reservation for about three months… They called me twice to confirm the reservation even the day before, during a snowstorm… I assumed since they called to confirm during a snowstorm that they would still be open. They have people staying there at the hotel, who have reservations as well… I assumed since they were adamant about the reservation that I should show up. We did …… with a note on the door saying they were closed. I called , no one ever responded. I went in to talk to them, they acted like they didn’t care. I gave them another chance… I just walked to order a Caesar salad to go (It’s a great Caesar salad to have made in front of you if you can get a reservation and sit down. I’m a meat eater, but the Caesar salad is the only thing I’ve ever liked from there. Steaks are mediocre) They took my number and said they would call me when it was ready. I let them know that I would be sitting right outside the door… An hour later (I gave them this much time because I know it was a walk-in last minute order. I was trying to be patient.) I walk in and politely ask if they’ve had time to make my salad… The same rude hostess from before said yeah it’s been sitting here. I called but you didn’t answer……Number one there are no calls on my phone. Number two I told her I’d be sitting outside the door. I did not want to hound them by my presence since it was a walk-in last minute order… Rude again.

Had a great dinner with friends. Mark was our server, mixed the best Caesar Salad, made good wine selections that paired with our main courses of chicken, prime rib and filet mignon. Mudpie for dessert is tasty!

Who would have thought that the best restaurant in the area would be tucked in the back of a casino in Ferndale? Not this guy!This place is absolutely top notch. The quality of the food is excellent from the fresh baked bread w/infused variations of butter to the Caesar salad made in front of you, to every cut of meat being perfect, every detail is managed meticulously.They even have a Maitre-De who periodically comes to ensure the experience is to your liking.I can’t say enough good things about this place. There’s only downside and it’s a small one and that’s the ambience. Normally, for a restaurant like this, you’d have a nice view out the window. Because it’s a hotel, there are no windows. That said, it’s our go to place for fine dining.

Me and my husband just recently got married and this place made our honeymoon perfect. It's romantic and just fancy enough for us. We had no complaints about anything. I'm hoping to come here every year for our anniversary. Thank you chefs/cooks for amazing flavorful food and staff for a lovely and friendly experience.
Best fancy restaurant in Whatcom County. The service is 5 star, the food is impeccable and the price for the quality, service and atmosphere is affordable. I would highly recommend if looking for something special. Must make reservation to guarantee you can get in.

Great expereince! The waiter was very professional and the food was delicious. I took one star off because the desserts offered were nothing special so we passed.Parking: The restaurant parking could be better signed. We acctually parked on the opposite side from the restaurant and got all turned arround trying to find the restaurant.

Had the strawberry with goat cheese salad, porterhouse and Swedish potatoes. The salad was one of the best salads I’ve had. The porterhouse was at best a choice cut. Very tough! At that price I should’ve returned it! The Swedish potatoes were way undercooked. Our waiter was absolutely amazing and the ambience was perfect.

Went to the Steakhouse for the first time last night with my hubby. From the moment we sat down, our server, John, made our experience absolutely amazing! The Caesar salad he made at our table was delicious and the steaks we ordered were high quality and cooked to perfection. We loved everything about it! We will for sure be back!
