Horrible company now after selling to 1800 flowers. Horrible customer service.

Wow, just read these reviews and you can tell that Vital Choice is not the company it once was before it was bought by 1800flowers! The very first order of fish I bought after they were bought came thawed and hot. The next 2 or 3 orders were the same. While I always got a refund, I had no fish and I was upset that this was happening when I used to adore their service and their product. In any event, a month ago, a man that I have spoken to before and that has been with vital choice for many years was reaching out to customers that had not ordered in awhile (I think his name was either David or Randy, but not sure) and he convinced me to give them another try. I agreed, and it happened again. He then gave me his direct line and asked me to call him back if it did happen again, because he cared and wanted to get to the bottom of the problem. Well needless to say that their service has gotten just as bad as their delivery because after misplacing his number, I proceeded to call vital choice 2-3 more times trying to find this nice gentleman and everyone is saying there is no way for them to find him or have him call me back!!! I just wanted to thank him for trying, but also to tell him what happened, in hopes they could do better. I hate to see them go downhill like this. What happened is that the fish apparently left their hands on a Monday and I received it on a Friday, warm and thawed. And we all know that you can't send frozen fish in any less time than 2 days from start to finish! The dry ice and handling won't accomodate anything longer!!! Anyway, I think it's not only sad that they are not maintaining the level of quality control they once had, but also that they don't have a system such that they can easily identify who I spoke with and connect us. Sadly, I won't be ordering from Vital Choice unless they fix this problem, and lately, I've been ordering from Lummis wild island seafood, and it's been realy good. This if you are looking. PS The customer service reps for Vital Choice are always extremely nice, which is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars, but until they improve on the logistics of shipping and putting you through to the people you ask for, they will have issues.

I am so disappointed in Vital Choice--a company I used to trust. They sent me the wrong product, and I called customer service to inform them. I was assured I would be sent the correct product. It never showed, so I called again. I was again assured I would be sent the correct product. That was three weeks ago and I still have not received what I ordered. Now when I call customer service I cannot reach anyone at all. I've tried the "request a call back" option four times on four separate days and have not received a callback. I may need to take this up with my credit card company.

Absolutely crushes all other fish I’ve ever eaten. Sushi quality, you can slice off little pieces and roll it up and eat it raw. I’ve been smoking it, grilling, pan frying, etc. Great quality and customer service

Very pricey and don't honor their promo codes

I'm very disappointed in Vital Choice. Their products are all amazing quality however, I live locally to the warehouse and as a local I used to be able to place an order and go pick up, 15 min drive for me. Now there is no pick up offered and I would have had to pay over $90 shipping on the order I was just trying to place ($500) order. For a company that strives to appear Sustainable this is hypocritacle . Sad to say I will be buying elsewhere. I understand that during COVID this may have been the only way, but that's just no longer the case. Disappointed to say the least!

Very long time Vital customer - Along with most of the products, I like the 3.75 tuna cans but, unfortunately, it appears since their sale to 800 flowers, even the canned product quality has fallen. People want local business because we are in the NW and we are fish. And it has to be good. Fortunately I've found other locals who haven't sold out. I'll say goodbye to the personal tuna cans and goodbye to Vital.

Wish I could of tried the seafood here, but I cannot get them to accept a $100 gift card I was given. I talked to three different customer service reps, over the course of an hour, who had the hardest time understanding that their website was not working to accept my gift card. My gift card is old, but there is no expiration date. A waste of $100 down the drain. The solution was "gift card is invalid" even though it had never been used and then they tried to upsell me organic apples at the end or an unsuccessful conversation. Very strange and very unorganized. Highly DO NOT recommend buying any gift cards from here as they will not work down the line. Otherwise, I have no opinion on any other factors or quality of the seafood since I couldn't get through step one of ordering.

We recently received our first order of your delectable seafood and are so impressed! The Chilean Sea Bass is outstanding! You definitely have made us customers! We will be ordering from Vital Choice from now on!

A great place to buy amazing seafood...and a very healthy choice

Without doubt the best source of canned seafood products I have found, and I have searched and tried many others. I hesitate to write this review because I dont want them to be hugely discovered potentially robing me of my future orders. All kidding aside these people have a lock on the hightest quality seafood.
