*** The people who work here are very nice. That’s always a good thing for repeat customers. However, I will not return after paying $9.75 for a breakfast sandwich. Last week it was $8.25 (apx.). It went up $1.25 in a week! It is simply wrong to charge that much. I moved here from Kirkland which is a very high cost of living city, but the MOST I ever paid for a breakfast sandwich was $7.50. Now they will not have a repeat customer anymore. I am done. ***

Good coffee. We tried their location in Coupeville but it doesn’t show up in the maps.

I run my own coffee business back home in TX, so I know good coffee when I have it! Kid working the stand was nice, but … nothing frosts my nickers more than a lukewarm, bland, and weak latte. Threw it in the trash.

1: no fall menu or fall drinks
2. 20 oz latte was made in < 5 mins- takes longer than that to pull shots & steam
milk.

We did not see any drive thru window during our visit on 8/13/2025.

Charming little café right on the Coupeville waterfront, less than a 5-minute walk from the Wharf. Indoor seating, plus a lovely patio with a waterfront view.

The staff was warm and welcoming, and made my custom drink exactly the way I wanted. Price was a pleasant surprise, just $6.53 here vs. $10.10 for the same drink I had earlier that morning in Port Townsend.

My husband’s made-to-order sandwich ($10.79) was fresh and satisfying.

A perfect stop to relax, refuel, and support a local gem whenever you’re on Whidbey Island.

A Hidden Gem on the Island!

Crabby Coffee might be small, but it packs a serious punch in charm and quality. Tucked away on the island, it’s the perfect quiet spot to unwind with a great cup of coffee. The vibe is cozy and low-key — no loud music or long lines, just peaceful island energy.

The barista was absolutely full of personality — warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about coffee. I had no idea what I wanted, and she gave me a spot-on recommendation that I’m still thinking about. You can tell she knew her stuff and genuinely love what she does.

Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area. Whether you’re looking for coffee, small bites or just need a caffeine fix, Crabby Coffee hits the spot. Will definitely be back!

Decent coffee. Unfortunately they were pretty much out of all their food items when I last visited. Only marked down to reflect that, not the quality of their food.

Way way way way way over priced breakfast sandwich. When I got the bacon cheddar eggs sandwich with no price on the menu and it was so small I was shocked to pay $7 for a $2 size sandwich. I felt scammed. Not to mention hungry after eating it. Low quality cheddar has no flavor, smallest egg you can get. Do yourself a favor and go someplace besides crabby coffee for food. Their prices are outrageous for what they are selling. There are better options at an AM PM gas station.

The barista welcomed us into the shop
Chatted with us as she made our Chai lattes. It was the best shop we visited on our trip to Coupsville.

I dunno decaf coffee and speed for an Americano.

It had great flavor, not watered down and the last running the stand was friendly.
