Food - Fish fry had too much coating, not enough fish. Fries were not hot. Bouillabaise was delicious. Crab & artichoke dip was good, but light on the crab. Service - Host/wait staff seated us after looking at reservation & saying aloud that someone else was at the table we should have been seated at. Consequently, we were not seated near the view (isn't "view" in your tag-line?). We were given water, then no staff returned to our table for more than 10...
Dining inside is a bit challenging as everything is hard Services so sound bounces off and makes a very loud environment. Food was pretty good. The service was OK. A bit expensive for the overall experience we had even though it's one of my favorite places to recommend to others.
Overall, an okay experience. One thing that brought me down was that our waitress seemed like she was not enjoying any part of taking care of our table. She didn't greet us with any pleasantries or smile once. I brought my boyfriend to Friday Harbor for a momentous weekend and chose this restaurant, and I was embarrassed by our dining experience.
