Sign outside, website, and locals confirm that Mike closed the business permanently mid-October 2024. There are rumors of another restaurant coming in but not confirmed. Sad news, as it was our favorite on San Juan Island.
Sadly, I got to experience this lovely vegan restaurant just the week before it was closing ?. It was such a delightful experience that I'm sad I can not repeat. But happy I had this time.

Adorable, warm atmosphere. Delicious vegan food. We especially liked the Jamaican jerk tacos. The beet starter plate was delicious if not overly generous with the beets. The hummus, pickled onions and grilled flatbread were great. Super friendly staff.

Definitely all other ratings are justified. Probably the only vegan place in Friday Harbor and they are really good.
I and my partner tried a spinach and blue cheese pizza. They were kind enough to make it over a glutten free dough - use cauliflower based crust. That was definitely the best tasting cauliflower crust I ever tried.
Super impressed by pizza's text and texture. Loved my experience.

Very nice vibe, especially in a town overcrowded with fast, tourist-oriented spots. The cheese plate and vegan burger we got were fantastic but the potato salad and BLT were a swing and a miss. Take this with a grain of salt, however, as I am not vegan.
Regarding the service, our server forgot about our wine order as well as one of our entrees. Further, we had to flag them down when we needed more water and napkins.
Service aside, this seemed like a spectacular spot to enjoy a glass of wine, some hors d'oeuvres, and the ambience--but I wouldn't recommend it for a full meal unless you are hunting specifically for vegan options.
Vegetarian options: Menu is entirely vegan.

This was our last meal on the island and was special. Everything is vegan and fantastic. I had the Reuben sandwich and my wife the BLTA. Both we wonderful and messy.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan and they do some gluten free options.

Vegetarian Options are here, Pizza?was great! The Tacos was ight, the Cajun Taco's wasn't wht I was expecting, I think of spicy gumbo from dwn S states when i think cajun but tht wasn't; the other 1 had more of a vinegar/pickle taste which I don't favor. We originally wanted to try 1 of each of they're Taco's? & they make them in pairs & charge $20 per pair so I wasn't about to drop $80-100 on just Taco's so we tried 2 of the 4/5 varieties tht they offer. The Pizza?we ordered was a mix of 2 of they're Pizza options tht they offered.

The BLTA was great, and the last time I tried it years ago I remember loving it too... this visit though- Cheese platter was fine, but the bread was stale. The Mac and cheese barely tasted like anything but oil, and the potato salad wasn't my thing either. My whole group was a little disappointed, but I'm not knocking off too many stars because I really enjoyed the BLTA and the staff were very friendly. I would go back for the BLTA, but not anything else I tried.

Amazing place, immaculate vibes, and very friendly people!
The setting is beautiful, as you would be able to tell by the live edge tables, blooming flowers by the windows, and appropriately matched silverware. They have rotating drinks and a wide selection of wines that all seem tempting and delicious. One thing that drew us here are the vegan desserts! We ordered the chocolate mousse cake, and it was really delicious and smooth - if I were hungrier, I would have ordered the whole menu. My husband got a wine and I got a sour and they were both really good. Just try it, you'll like it!

Just had the mushroom tartine coz I wasn't hungry but it was incredible, just life changing.
ALL of the staff was incredibly sweet, I left my headphones and they were kind enough to keep them safe for me.
I will be coming back and recommending the heck outta this place

Charming rustic place, super-close to the waterfront. Their outdoor seating was perfect for enjoying the summer evening. Staff was really friendly and food was filling and delicious. Will recommend the sweet potato tacos and the mezze platter, which had a generous portion size and was beautifully arranged!

Always the best! Sometimes they get unexpectedly busy and that just means it is the time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere :-)
And your great beer, wine, and food, of course ? the large outdoor patio sometimes has live music. P.S. Mike has some great stories and jokes to tell ! ;-)
