Located in the heart of town & less than a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal, skip the overpriced options (unless you want to pay for the harbor view) and enjoy breakfast served all day at the Rocky Bay Cafe. Quick, friendly service, reasonable prices, good rye toast, greasy spoon standards. Can get busy; small dining room; no outdoor seating; restrooms could be cleaner; limited free 2 hr street parking. Support your local small businesses & restaurants 👍

The worse breakfast I've ever had. Flatest sausage patty I've ever seen. Small portions and the place was cold.

We followed the rules by signing in to be in line to be seated. Unfortunately, they don’t follow their own system by allowing others to stroll right in and grab a table that just was cleared off. When questioned about allowing that to happen, the response was your next. If you want to be treated like a second class citizen do go here. If not, Go to Tina’s if you wish to be treated fairly and with respect.

I won't say this was the worst breakfast I have ever had, but it was close. The waitress was great, the restaurant was clean. But the food, gross. I won't be back.

How the heck is a breakfast place out of coffee? And most of the breakfast menu items? I've waited 3 weeks to post this...thinking maybe it was just a bad day, but the more I think about it the more irritating it is! For starters, the waitress waited until I ordered to tell me "oh we are out of that" same with the next thing I tried to order, until I got to my last pick, and when the biscuit and gravy came... good gravy let's try atleast warming our guest food up! Not to mention the food my boyfriend ordered was bland, absolutely no flavor. We paid $60 for one biscuit with gravy, and one bowl of hash and one very bad (one sip and left it!) "coffee drink" a shot of expresso and a blob of chocolate. Not really sure what everyone sees in this. We definitely will be back to the island, but will not be visiting this spot again.

We finally found a breakfast place that can properly cook eggs to order!!

Breakfast was the 2x4. A simple meal done correctly is a great start to a relaxing weekend.

If the locals eat here, you know it’s good. A small, but charming place for breakfast and lunch. Excellent menu, large portions, quick service.

Loud, obnoxious environment. Slow service, little interaction when entering and leaving. Food was watery and over seasoned with garlic salt.

I think this was the best Corned Beef Hash I've ever had. Excellent home fries, corned beef that was not too salty, peppers that were perfectly cooked and tasted like peppers.

11/10, would go again.

In a town filled with charming, albeit high-end places to eat, the Rocky Bay Café stands out. Conveniently situated just off the intersection of Spring Street and 2nd Avenue, the cafe is nestled between the Palace Theatre (currently showing Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) and a gift shop and stationery store with the charming name Sandpebble.

The cafe maintains a low profile, almost hidden from view behind a small, overstuffed bulletin board, which, unlike virtually any other bulletin board I’ve encountered in similar circumstances, was completely up to date with interesting and relevant information.

Inside, although unassuming and utilitarian, the cafe was almost full of people who were clearly enjoying their meals. My vegetarian omelette was excellent, and a glance at the menu and the food being enjoyed at nearby tables revealed an impressive array of culinary delights.

Service was neither fast nor slow; it was appropriate, especially given how busy it was over the lunch hour. A great stop with congenial and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Head up Spring Street when you get off the ferry. Walk on by the places right by the water, just walk on by, you won’t regret it. This place is scrumptious! The service was speedy, the atmosphere cozy, and you feel like a local. The server worked the dining room solo with speed, efficiency, and genuine kindness. The only negative: you’re gonna regret this place is on an island ‘cause you’re gonna want to go back often! Enjoy!
