Great hole in the wall food joint. Eggs Benedict was great. Service was great. Very small, and laid back atmosphere. Only negative is they need to chill on the salt put on the breakfast potatoes. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Delicious breakfast burritos and French toast. Recommend adding the berries and creme. Lovely murals. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent brunch!

Best corned beef hash in America! It contained an abundance of fresh made corned beef, more corned beef than potatoes, we even got a few whole slices of the corned beef in it. Very friendly & quick service in this intimate cafe. Delicious, stick to your ribs breakfast.

My family and I are from Bellingham and we came here for brunch on a Saturday morning. The place was busy, but the service was extremely fast! Everyone was so friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.

Well another cafe that cannot keep up With demand of tourist nor locals. Visited this cafe for breakfast on a Saturday, we were there early and found a table quickly. We did receive be a menu but then we waited over 10 minutes to be able to order. The menu was decent size and had many options, the prices were ok but not great. Service was slow and they chose who they took care of first based on a process not many servers are taught. Atmosphere is loud as more people rolled into the cafe for food. When we did receive the food it was ok, just ok. The eggs Benedict was loaded with soggy spinach and took away from a delicious flavor from the eggs, hollandaise and crab. The fried steak tasted like old oil and the eggs on top were not cooked enough for over easy. Coffee was fine and honestly the toast was the only thing I really enjoyed. All in all it's a dive and the food is trying to be pretentious but is being prepared by someone that may not have the training to perform such a menu. So Mike R replied to my review which is too bad he didn't take the opportunity to address the issues instead called me a liar. I was there on Saturday around 8:45 am I got the fried steak and my husband got the eggs Benedict and I thought it was crab but maybe it was something else.... If you as an owner can't take criticism you will never grow as a competent business owner. So sad

Rude staff. Had an early lunch after getting off the ferry there were 6 of us including a young child. The open/closed sign was flipped by the child but it was not with malicious intent because she's a very young kid. Another group walked in saying that the sign said "closed" and one of the waitresses said "uh no?" and then we realized the sign had been flipped by the child. This waitress then comes over and says in the most passive aggressive voice with "can you not do that?" I go to say it wasn't on purpose and the waitress snatches the sign and moves it. I'm sorry but this kid didn't know what she was doing she wasn't trying to sabotage the business. Before all this happened we moved some salt and pepper shakers off the table because we put 2 tables together and the same waitress sees this and passive aggressively says "um did you guys put these here?" A child at another table was offered a coloring book and crayons and the child in our party was not, even though they were about the same age. This waiter was nice to other tables as we could hear. She was not our server however, our server was very nice.

This was a great spot for breakfast. I got a chai latte, which was one of the best I’ve ever had! I also got a breakfast burrito (added sour cream as a side for 75 cents). The food was great and filling. Our server was very friendly and the staff made sure we were well taken care of. Our server also gave some great tips on places of interest on the island, and even a podcast to listen to on the way.

Arrived here this morning 1/29/24 at 9:05, we were greeted, seated, ordered, ate and walked out at 9:31. Impressive, especially if you’re getting on a ferry.Aubrey (sp) very nice, everything happened as it should happen, and we left knowing we will be back. Our meals were delicious, large and filling. The chef did a nice job plating the breakfast.Nice home town feeling. See you next time!Old review from 12/11/23Walked here because we had an hour wait for our ferry. We seated ourselves, sat for some time without being acknowledged. Finally, my husband went and confirmed that we self seat.By the time the server brought us menus, we were down to 35 mins before our ferry would board. We asked if this was enough time, server said, no. So we left. Sad because we really wanted to try this place.Maybe if we had been greeted, and seated, and maybe a smile, the outcome could have been different. The server talked us out of staying and dining. I asked about taking our food to go, she couldn’t guarantee that either.I know home cooked, custom orders take time.. but I’d never let money walk out the door.12/11/23 @ 9:00.I might add, there were other tables with diners, most already had their food. Not what I would consider busy. Can’t give any stars for the food. Didn’t eat.Service intentionally left blank. Due to lack of..Atmosphere was cute…but server hurt this area too.**Based on the owners timely and polite response, we will be back. Thank you!Vegetarian options: Their oatmeal is very good! Love the add ons of walnuts, cranberries, brown sugar and milk. Use it all or eat it plain, delicious either way.

One of the best reviewed breakfast places in Friday Harbor for a reason! The service was over-the-top friendly. I had the Bacon Pesto Scramble and my broad had pancakes. I will definitely be back for their version of a Joe's Scramble should I ever find myself in town again! Top notch.

Since Rocky Bay was purchased and changed owners recently, we find breakfast is still the classic yum we know. But wait, there is more...tacos some nights. We want more tacos more of the time. We love love love the tacos. Still haven't figured out the exact days of the tacos. Tacos everyday would be our vote! Thank you taco makers!
