We had a perfect meal last Saturday- undoubtedly the best dinner out we have had on the island in the past year. Nuanced and subtle food in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. What a welcome addition to the island!

Wow! This place was SO good for dinner, that we had to go back again for brunch! All of the staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. And to top it off, the food was fantastic, too! Jamie greeted us with a smile, and her expertise and love for her work showed by how well she took care of us! Everything from the drinks to the main courses were great! So good that we returned for brunch! The breakfast sandwiches were excellent as well, and the food both times dissapearred!

Words really have a hard time describing how good everything is here. The food is amazing, every single thing on the menu- which btw changes with what is fresh and in season ON THE ISLAND! You know that’s got be hard to do and they do it deliciously! It’s food for the foodie and the critic! You will love it! The staff here is so wonderful and warm! Like a family. And the ambiance is the same and beautiful- each touch you know was thoughtful and hand curated. We even had a private event here which was incredible and unforgettable!Go here. A lot!

Weird atmosphere, bad waiters, extremely disappointing food. May it's due to it being November, but that shouldn't be an excuse.

This place has potential. I brought my partner here for a birthday dinner. Open entering, there is a sign indicating that you must order your food at the counter, pay up front, then set your own table. Keep in mind this is a $$$ restaurant. The food was hit and miss. Pomperdella was excellent, meatballs were cold and just so-so, tiramisu could have been better as the cream was not set. Service was strange and inconsistent due to the fact one person was trying to do it all alone along with several other duties. (She was very delightful) The owner did come out before I left and explained some of the challenges she is facing due to under staffing. I am hopeful this place will make some adjustments and will earn a solid 5 star rating moving forward.

They were short handed, so only counter service. I appreciate they heads up about counter service. Ordered an Americano, but they only had oat milk. Not my favorite. Wanted to try the pork parm, but apparently it only comes on a bed of arugula. I detest arugula and really did not want just a piece of meat. Settled on buratta salad. Very good. Had the mushroom risotto, also good. Daughter had the carbonara. The bits of bacon in sauce were a bit too charred. She hated it. I tried, and it was bad. Due to lack of staffing, no one to point this out to.

We just visited for my partners birthday & it's one of the best meals we've had in a while. Everything we ordered was so fresh, thoughtfully paired & perfectly cooked (the burrata starter was especially amazing). Beyond the food, I can't say enough good things about the service, everyone working was incredibly kind, attentive, genuine, and friendly. Can't wait to visit again!

We went hoping to try their pizza the last evening before they closed the woodfired option for the season. After finding a person to ask if it was self seating, we were told yes. Sat for 1.5 hours with only one brief interaction 45 minutes in asking if we'd been served, and letting us know they'd be right back after clearing the table to take our order.Understandable that it was busy and they are new and clearly overwhelmed, but multiple tables around us went from seated, to served, and cleared out. By the time we gave up and left, there were only 6 other tables, most of which were done and milling.Hoping they it get more together, it's exciting to see new options on the island. A bonus star since the ambiance is great, the food smelled delicious, and the tables that got attention got a lot and seemed happy.

Tenth House is a real gem. The chef-owner has been around restaurant kitchens her entire life and has also worked the land. Her depth of culinary knowledge is "Worth a Detour" to experience. The small but eclectic menu is highly ingredient-driven and seasonal. If the Arancini (saffron-infused Sicilian rice & cheese balls) are on the menu, just get them. They're the best I've ever had. Wood-fired pizzas are both creative and delicious with a properly blistered crust. Wine selection features the unusual and unexpected; don't hesitate to ask for recommendations. No table service or reservations (for now) but staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it's worth the wait in line behind the occasionally befuddled ferry-visitors to place an order. Just tickled that Nicole has chosen Friday Harbor for this labor of love!
