This is the best fish and chips we have had on this island. It's primarily a take-out option most similar to Spuds (Seattle people would know). Our usual order for family of 4 is (2) of the 4 piece cod (trust me...the menu says 3 piece but you can ask for 4 piece). Tartar is substantial with slight garlic flavor. Fresh lemon wedges and coleslaw cup. Crispy fries. The teens here use a punch card for baskets of fries and soft serve cones. This business gives teens jobs, so...
Decent fish and chips, fair price. Girl taking orders was like a zombie, completely disconnected and unengaged. Small counters needed to be wiped down and condiments without caps/lids need to be thrown away. It's a very small place and should not be difficult to keep tidy.
Since the restaurant next door wasn't open, and the Bait Shop had counter space available, we stopped in for fish and chips. I liked the 3 piece cod meal. Not a bad lunch, and the gal behind the counter was friendly. It could a regular lunch stop.
