The Valentine's day prefix menu was not good, the best part was the dessert. The wine pairings to go with the prefix menu were okay. Overall, disappointing experience.

I have been eating out at upscale restaurants my whole life. I have never returned a meal after eating 1 bite. My husband is by no means picky and he could not eat his meal either. We paid $200 for a special Valentine’s 4 course dinner and couldn’t eat more than a bite or two of any of the courses, even dessert. We did not ask for a refund and we tipped our server generously but we will never go back.

Friendly, attentive service. Delicious food. My toasted barley and squash was a heady mix of textures and was a gorgeous presentation of tasty mushrooms, while the crab pasta had crab in every bite! The shepherds pie was also a win with a delightful mix of potato, lamb, peas and carrots. Only reason for 4 star was that one of six of us ordered a burger medium well, and it came out a bit raw. (She should have asked for a few more minutes on the grill but she chose not to on a busy Sat night). Really a, 4.6 experience this evening, but Google won't allow half stars. Thank you Friday Harbor House!

My husband and daughter had dinner Saturday evening. Had the halibut and said the worst meal in a restaurant in a long time. The fish was watery and tasteless. Service was barely ok. He said should have sent it back but felt sorry for the waitress. We are local Island and will never recommend to guests.

We went here for breakfast for the first time. I was underwhelmed. Food was average, coffee was decent, service was good. I had the salmon omlette, it was dry, the feta cheese was sprinkled on the outside and disappeared flavorwise. I'll go back and try it again. But first impression, over priced for average food.

Amazing views and the staff were attentive, welcoming and fun.

The beef short rib came with interesting flavors as it had pesto and hazelnuts. I am not sure if I would have it again if I came back or try to make a similar dish. The seafood pasta was also had and enjoyed with no complaints.

The best was the warm brownie with ice cream and caramel for dessert. It melted in my mouth. Save room for dessert!

Our server was attentive and had great humor too.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight. The short rib and the crab pasta were both great, as was the berry lemonade and dessert. Our waitress was lovely as well. Easy spot to recommend.

I absolutely love this place. Hands down best breakfast in town.

Had the smoked salmon and crab appetizers, loved the crab only liked the salmon. Had the Stuffed Portobello for my main and loved that too. My company had the rockfish sandwich and loved it. Seriously enjoyed our whole meal, along with the view and very nice waiter. Absolutely coming back!! Can't beat that view too.

DO NOT COME HERE. I never write these kind of reviews. Terrible food and service. Waited over an hour for even drinks. Hair in my food. Saltiest salad I’ve ever had. Snarky waitress. Save your money.

Great views, atrocious service, terrible margaritas.
We arrived late afternoon in hopes of having some cocktails and appies. 3 of us ordered margaritas on the rocks and received what I can only describe as rhe worst margarita I've ever had. Pretty sure they consisted of tequila, water and bar lime. We would have voiced our issues with the drinks, but the server didn't come back.
One of the kids ordered a rootbeer after the rest had ordered our drinks, and we didn't receive it until we were walking out the door. They didn't charge us for the rootbeer, but sadly that didn't make up for the terrible service.
100% not worth the money we spent.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner while in Friday Harbor getting supplies for camping mid trip. Very well worth the short uphill walk. The service was great, and the food was outstanding! I had the Halibut and she had the currie clams. They got us in w/o a reservation, but we were there about 5pm. Might want to get a reservation for a Saturday night. The place was beautiful. I have a feeling the Hotel would be a great getaway spot too! I can't wait to go back!
