The Top of the Town Lounge

Very cozy place! Quite tasty food and the cocktails were amazing also there were a few mocktail options.

My friend Susan introduced me to Dana and Jeff. They were really fun and awesome. Jeff made me a “monkey business” and it was and is now one of my go to drinks. I think the name of it needs to be called the “Smokey Juan” because it is “the one” and you can only get it on San Juan. Atmosphere was awesome, owners were awesome. It’s a local hang out and the stories flow. Not so local you aren’t welcome. Highly recommend and will frequent if and when I am back. They are passionate about the spirits they have and they have quite a collection. -Kip

We took a chance on this unassuming bar and really enjoyed ourselves. The owners were gracious and welcoming and man can Jeff pour a cocktail! Dana was a delightful server and the whole space feels like an intimate getaway from the rest of the island. Keep up the great work and see you next time!

A public institution in such an isolated place...

Dana and Jeff were so nice and knowledgeable! We had a great time having a few drinks and snacks. You would never guess the interior style by seeing it from the outside. Such a cool spot to visit. Highly recommend!

Very quiet and out of the way. A hidden gem in Friday Harbor.

My husband and I visited Top of the Town Lounge during our trip to the San Juan Islands, and it was a fantastic experience. Jeff and Dana were incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere was exactly as described – dark, sultry, and perfectly relaxing. Jeff made some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time, and it was the perfect spot for a date night. As visitors from Florida, we highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area! If we’re ever in the San Juans again, we’ll definitely stop by!

Such a cute a cozy place serving delicious eats! Gourmet dogs and very tasty beer salad!!! The owners are so sweet, kind, warm and welcoming! I will definitely be back and can’t wait to show my wife this cool spot next time we come out here on vacation!

Got turned away at the door without any reason. I was told they were full and there was no waitlist, with notably empty tables. I got the impression it wasn't a very welcoming place to tourists. We never got the chance to try it or I could have commented on the service/food. The first impression was awful enough.

We had a fabulous time, expresso martini, Chicago Style hot dog, company was awesome.
Owners Jeff and Dana, two wonderful people.
I don't want to yell you how awesome this place is, because you'll visit and I won't be able to get in.

Absolutely amazing group of people. Staff (owners and apparently their life long friends) are amazing, welcoming and make you feel like a local, welcome and family. I was here for Jeff's birthday (bartender/local/owner/superhero?) By myself and had the best evening. Wine selections AMAZING, followed by the best spicy margaritas of this dude's life. If you visit San Juan Island/ friday harbor, you must come here. This is where the real people are. I'll come back, just for this place.
