The Top of the Town Lounge

This place is fantastic. The owners are delightful, the drinks are delicious, the service is PERFECT, and the ambiance is really nice. Ended up going here when we wanted a night cap and am SO happy with the decision. We got the pornstar martini and a whiskey sour - YUM! Cant wait to come back the next time we’re in Friday Harbor.

Absolutely my favorite place in the islands. Shoot, it's my favorite place in Washington. Great drinks, great atmosphere, always fun and interesting people show up. Just a great experience all around.

This place is run by a husband and wife duo. The husband is the bartender and the wife is the server. Both were very friendly and attentive. This place has a very cozy vibe. We didn't try the food because we had already eaten, but the drinks were great. I recommend the espresso martini. My friend and I both got one and we agreed it was the best one we have ever had.

My friend Susan introduced me to Dana and Jeff. They were really fun and awesome. Jeff made me a “monkey business” and it was and is now one of my go to drinks. I think the name of it needs to be called the “Smokey Juan” because it is “the one” and you can only get it on San Juan. Atmosphere was awesome, owners were awesome. It’s a local hang out and the stories flow. Not so local you aren’t welcome. Highly recommend and will frequent if and when I am back. They are passionate about the spirits they have and they have quite a collection. -Kip

We took a chance on this unassuming bar and really enjoyed ourselves. The owners were gracious and welcoming and man can Jeff pour a cocktail! Dana was a delightful server and the whole space feels like an intimate getaway from the rest of the island. Keep up the great work and see you next time!

A public institution in such an isolated place...

Dana and Jeff were so nice and knowledgeable! We had a great time having a few drinks and snacks. You would never guess the interior style by seeing it from the outside. Such a cool spot to visit. Highly recommend!

Very quiet and out of the way. A hidden gem in Friday Harbor.

My husband and I visited Top of the Town Lounge during our trip to the San Juan Islands, and it was a fantastic experience. Jeff and Dana were incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere was exactly as described – dark, sultry, and perfectly relaxing. Jeff made some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time, and it was the perfect spot for a date night. As visitors from Florida, we highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area! If we’re ever in the San Juans again, we’ll definitely stop by!

Such a cute a cozy place serving delicious eats! Gourmet dogs and very tasty beer salad!!! The owners are so sweet, kind, warm and welcoming! I will definitely be back and can’t wait to show my wife this cool spot next time we come out here on vacation!
