My partner and I went here on our way home from Friday Harbor and the owner was SO KIND and she gave us the history of the Vic's which we really enjoyed. 10/10 would stop here again!
Very good fish and chips. Vic's is very clean and friendly. The best fish and chips. You can tell when they use good clean oil. I usually avoid fried fish because of the after effects. None of that at Vicks. Great shakes.

Good local burger place. Stopped by while up in Friday Harbor for work. Great burger, but as much as I hate to say, $29.00 for a burger, tots and a canned Pepsi is kinda tough to swallow. I figure if you're paying 13.99 for a burger at least it would have the fries or tots thrown in. My mistake for not asking, but when the order person casually asks if you want fries or tots you kinda just expect it. Would have liked to have been told everything was A La Carte. By way of comparison , I just went to Maui and a local burger joint cost me $20.00 for burger basket and a beer. Nothing against the food or staff, but $30.00 was a little steep in my book.

Decent burgers, but charging for water, dipping sauce, and fries with a burger feels like I’m getting nickeled and dimed. Not providing tap water and only selling bottled water on an island just seems like unnecessary waste and pollution.
