Don’t come here, insanely slow for the most mid food, stop breakfast way too early. Uncomfortable atmosphere. Go to the next town for food for sure

The place keeps a vintage look
the food is good and there’s plenty of space
(They have packs of card games in the tables for fun)

I was expecting to be stared down by locals, but it was a welcoming and comfortable stop for lunch. Plenty of basic options to satisfy anyone, and my husband really enjoyed the special that day!
We stopped here on our way West. Food was excellent! My hubs took 1/2 the burrito to go, my biscuit and gravy was great with a perfectly over easy egg! We were surprised with a gift from the cook of a scrumptious brownie! Modest, humble cafe that is very very clean! Which is why 5 🌟 for atmosphere!!! Highly recommend ♥️

First pulled up and was unsure of our choice, went in and still not sure lol Staff were great and food was really good. Definitely worth it. Burgers and chef salad were so good and prices very reasonable. Don't let the outside turn you away.

Very generous portions, but the food was bland. The folks didn't greet us as we entered. We found our own table and I eventually wandered over to the awkwardly-placed ordering window* and found menus. *You had to walk through a little room to get to the counter where you have to order. We were the only people in the restaurant so it seems like it would have been easy to just bring the menus out to us. They were friendly when they brought us the food. As far as the atmosphere... Hoo-boy! I think they are trying to go for a quirky offbeat type feel. However, instead it gives off creepy and depressing vibes instead. They allow people to write on the walls and it looks like the inside of a bathroom stall. Then they have random musical artists' photos, like David Bowie next to Bing Crosby, as well as kitschy floral paintings. They had a single stall restroom (for men and women) that is in bad shape. We ate here because there aren't many options in George, WA and a member of our party had to use the restroom and we didn't want to have to load and unload again. The staff seem nice but not well trained. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Can be a little uncomfortable atmosphere wise. The foid was great, which outweighs that by a mile
