Applebee's Grill + Bar

Went here with my wife last night (01/16/26) at around 7-8 pm. We ordered the pub fries + the 2 for $25 (mozz sticks, Cajun chicken and shrimp, and the bourbon bacon burger) + the new Valentine's Day drinks and I wanted to come back and give a delighted shout-out to everyone there. The service from our server, the food that was brought out, and out alcohol. All of it was amazing and added up to be one of the best experiences we've had at not just an Applebee's, but at any restaurant we've been to in recent times. We ended up tipping between 30 and 35% because of that.

These employees are amazing and I hope they get treated well! Keep up your hard work! Love ya!

It's a great place to meet up with friends or family and chat while waiting for your food. It's quiet and you can hear each other talk and communicate. Bo one bothers you. The servers come by refilling your drinks, asking if you need anything else. They don't stand there watching you eat or listen to your conversation.

It's Applebee's, lmao but it's a good place for family's to go for a good dinner to make memories, my memories there are some of my core memories.

This was not going to start out as a review, but today was really bad, Waited about 10 min before offering a drink. Waiter so far not friendly, didnt seem to want to work with us on a item that nether of us would eat, gave us our drinks after the people that ordered drinks after we did. Dropped off appetizer didnt say anything just walked off. Grilled cheese burger was spicey with no mention of spicey in the add or list of ingredients.
My noodles had no flavor had to add a lot of salt to make them something I would eat. The manager came over, bearded guy. Long hair. He didnt charge us for the food even though I said I would pay for at least mine because I could get through it. But he kept cutting me off. And acted really rude and even tried to correct us on how we thought things should have gone. Over all I would say we wont be back. If the service and management acts like that to us again. They really showed no respect and over hearing the people around us tonight. They felt the same way.

I really wanted to give this Applebees a chance while my wife did not. We go inside to order some Nonalcoholic beers and they only have Heineken Zero so we tell our waiter at the bar that we were gonna leave. In response to that he gave us a passively flippant gesture and immediately stops service and goes to the next table. This is frustrating because not only did this prove the wife was right and we shouldn’t have gone this place a chance, but it wasn’t as friendly as they aspire to be if you decide this place isn’t for you.

As a new resident of Gig Harbor, my girlfriend and I chose to have dinner here on Veteran's Day. It was a busy day for the staff and I think everyone did a great job. Thank you for the honor bestowed me as an Army Vet with a free dinner on Veteran's Day. We will be back!

It was ok. We went late at night. Food was OK.
I didnt get my bread stick until I was done with my salad.
Waited atleast 10 mins (after I used the pay at the table) to get the waitress to come over so I could get a to-go box.
The staff is nice but they need to have a sense of urgency when serving people.

Not bad at all, my steak was cooked to perfection. Good Palma Grant Martini. Cookie alamode with caramel sauce is pretty rich, perfect for two.

What else is there to say its Applebee's. We haven't been in years but a family member sent us a gift card for our anniversary. It is fine the food is decent the atmosphere a little over the top. Overall it was a nice lunch and the Staff was friendly.
