Absolutely can't stand the service model they implement hear. Order, pay/tip then sit down and then they bring your food to you. It's not a burger shack it's a pretty nice restaurant so why not act like one. Maybe I'm just old fashioned. If you go to the bar they wait on you. I guess the owners must save money by not having waiters/waitresses in the family section. Good for them. I'm curious if anyone likes this model of service?

Great burgers! I had the mac attack burger with macaroni and cheese. It was really good and flavorful. The fries were well seasoned and hot and the beer was cold.

When ever we are in Gig Harbor for wife's hair appointment we have dinner at Blazing Onion. This time her appointment was earlier so we had an early dinner. Have eaten at every other restaurant in the area. We agree on Blazing Onion because of the quality of the food, the great service staff,and the manager Carlos.👍👍👍👍👍

Takeout order to celebrate a special birthday: burgers, hot dog, sesame chicken on salad, French fries, onion rings, and black bean burger. Can not encourage take out. Food was flavorless, cold, veggie burger had awful, mushy texture, onion rings soft, and fries where cardboard in texture, burger was dry and very poor flavor. Arrived exactly when told. Cannot recommend. Will not repatronize. Staff at front were very nice. Exterimly disappointed and rather embarrassed to provide the sad meal, as a birthday gift. Perhaps all is better, when served and eaten in restaurant. For years, have purchased gift certificates, as gifts for local friends. Will no longer.
Good food. Manager got mad at me that I wanted to upgrade my fries after I ordered. Became visibly distressed and wanted to chat about what I did after I walked away with his coworkers out loud. Made a big deal over really nothing could’ve just asked the cook to change the order rather than freak out. Then continued to recharger me the fries over again because I paid cash. lol still coming back but that was weird.

Quality has gone down hill dramatically this year, food service is more expensive and less food then last year, staff clearly not wanting to be there very rude, trying to call in an order makes them upset and they will hang up on you assuming you get the chance to talk to them, called 3 times no answer and when I picked up the food the staff was joking about not answering phones the rest of the day

Blazing onion has always been one of my favorite restaurants to go out and get a burger, but this location in particular is awesome! Clean space, awesome service and every burger has been on point. I will continue to come back even though I live 30 minutes away from this location
