Stopped in for some tasty BBQ and was not disappointed. I could smell the smoke from the restaurant from down the street. I had a cup of the brisket chowder, it was very creamy and full of flavor. I got a 2 meat plate with brisket, pork ribs, corn bread muffins, and deviled egg potato salad. The brisket was perfect. The pork ribs had a perfect bite to them and the sauce was amazing. The corn bread was the best I have had in a long time from a restaurant. They had a punch in the bar that went well with the BBQ. Everyone was super friendly and really put my experience over the top. I would definitely come back here if I was in the area.

Food is decent. Brisket was solid. The pulled pork was very briney and vinegary, not a fan. The sides are very small as well

We’ve been here several times. Reliably great food with all the sauces you could want. Service has always been wonderful with a chill atmosphere. I’m a huge fan of the brisket and pickled veggies, but love all the offerings. Miss the smoked trout and hope to see that return, it was unique and a great addition. One of my family’s favorite bbq places.

The main BBQ food was great, but the different specialty plates not so much. 3 of us ordered different things from the menu. Stick to the typical BBQ restaurant food and you'll be happy. Also pretty pricey over 100 bill for 3.

This place was below par... I was not impressed at all. Up charging for sides for ($3 Cornbred, $6 Mac n Cheese $3 Corn on the cob) Potato Salad u get 1 scoop like it was an ice cream cone. HORRIBLE.

Basically a mexicn restaurant. I was expecting more bbq dishes. I got the loaded Mac and cheese. The cheese was rather watery, the meat was ok.

Couldn't tell the difference between the pulled pork and the brisket. You've got to get one or the other.
Potato salad was two bites when I ordered it to go, not kidding.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this local BBQ spot, but it honestly blew my mind! I've been twice now, and both times we were sat quickly, and our server was super friendly. I love that this place has a classic BBQ feel with a few creative twists. Everything tasted great, and we were well taken care of throughout the meals. I'll definitely be back with more people!

Order BBQ beef brisket and pork plater, corn bread with potato salad and Mac & cheese as sides..
We also had 2 drinks and 1 NA beverage.
While all the beverages were great, the food was Mediocre and service was not great.
Beef brisket was so fatty that We could not eat it. Potato salad was tasteless and Had a consistency of mush. The cornbread was Saturated in honey. The mac & cheese were totally overcooked tasted old. When I addressed this is our server, Emmalee L. She offered us additional food take home. It is strange to offer guests to take home food that they clearly did not eat or enjoy in the first place. I am a food and beverage veteran and I might have high expectations. This is the reason why i usually not write negative reviews. Brimstones food menu items are prepared With common products and they should be prepared commonly well. Instead, the food is prepared by someone that doesn’t care.

The BBQ for the money was not good. Portions are small and BBQ was a miss. They nailed the brisket but everything else was not great and very over priced. The ribs were a bummer. They definitely had been in a steamer or hot well before being served slimy and overdone. Do not get the pork belly, really tough and served in a bbq sauce soup topped with melted cheese. BBQ is not hard don’t overpay for bad smoked meat. It’s ok to charge a high price but it better be bang on not a corner cut. Sad really their staff were awesome, branding and culture was great but the food was not even on the same plane.
