Heard great things about Dexter's, so my wife and I decided to try. We both got the combo 2 with a shake. The burger was very bland and was nothing special. The shakes were ok but my wife's hot fudge shake was not that great, mine was ok Great Fries! Was not impressed!
From the start the service was unwelcoming. Having to wait for your online order because they never started it kinda defeats the purpose of using their site. Tried to send me away without giving me my drink and when it was asked about counter brat just gestured to the door so I could fill my own drink, again defeating the purpose of ordering online. Was upcharged $1 for ranch that was actually tarter sauce, the fries were hard, the burger was bland. Nothing redeeming here just go to the fancy burger place in town.

Came in close to closing and was still greated with a friendly host. The Peanut butter bannana milk shake was awsome.
My mom was a manager here in her younger years. Met the eponymous Dexter and dinner with them. Pretty frickin cool people(they don't own it anymore but eh) and excellent food

Had a deluxe burger and fries with a peanut butter shake. The cook and counter person were very friendly and both had nice smiles!
Wheelchair accessibility: Nice concrete walkway with ramp at one end.
Prices are a bit high but worth it. Except the shakes. Those are reasonable. I like the shake I had once, but then I ordered a cone and the ice cream alone was not good.

It’s cheap. The fries are good. The place is dirty and run down - and the burgers are just frozen patties that haven’t been seasoned at all. But hey - Washington likes cheap more than salt. Won’t be going back. The kids working there are solid!
