Domo Sushi Gig Harbor

Well I am sorry I don’t have pics to back this up but this place, in a strip mall, has really good sushi!! I stopped by for a late lunch hoping to get a few rolls and I was very shocked!

Their rolls have CHUNKS of fish, not just left over scraps and they didn’t have the typical bloat of rice! Really good portion and the fish was very fresh.

This is a great family owned restaurant to support and will be my go to sushi spot in Gig Harbor!

This is by far my favorite place for sushi in the area! Everything tastes the most fresh, the quality is not only wonderful but also consistent. Waiters are wonderfully attentive, and the sushi chefs are not bad to look at too 😉

Seated promptly. Our server seemed as if they (not sure if boy or girl) were in in La La
land. After getting around to taking order they didn’t bring water until our food came in which another server reached out and got them for us. Food was mediocre and environment felt tense between the workers.
It’s usually a favorite place for us but I think they need to a clean sweep some of their employees maybe incorporate dress code.

We got sushi rolls and they were flavorless. The rice was bad, the fish was flavorless and not good, the shrimp tempura roll was meh at best. We LOVE sushi. We've been here before and liked it but this was disappointing and not good. Service was good. The sushi rolls were slow coming out.

Casual Asian restaurant. Good for lunch and dinner. Large pan Asian menu, wine and beer. Great food, reasonable prices.

Sushi is excellent here. Especially considering how bad the other sushi spots in Gig Harbor are (poke and grocery stores). Fish quality is high, though I am upset that they advertise having Toro but I've yet to be able to order that in the times I've gone. Sushi rolls are WAY bigger than I was expecting, so you get quite a lot of value. I usually get two rolls and feel comfortable at most places. I got two rolls here and was uncomfortably full. 007 is my favorite I've had. I'm a sucker for sharp fruits being on sushi. That one has lime slices on it.

I'm glad Gig Harbor finally has a good sushi option and look forward to many more meals here.

My only gripe is it's Gig Harbor! I live in Bremerton and would go here so much more often if it's closer. (Lol) We went a fee weeks ago for the first time, and wow we were blown away. The portions are large, they don't skimp on anything. We got the tuna tower (first time ordering something like this and it was amazing) we also got some rolls, there's a white sauce on one of them, and I swear I would put that sauce on anything. We also got a dessert and it was flaky and delicious. We were recommended this spot from some local Kitsap diners and I'm glad we went!

I was looking for a new sushi place close to the Imax theater and found this place. I've had good sushi at other places, but I think this place takes 1st place for me. Decently priced rolls, wide selection, and the building was clean and the decor was perfect.
