It's always nice to find vegan options outside of larger cities. I drive up to Gig Harbor from Portland every 6 months for Oncology at MultiCare. I found this restaurant thanks to Happy Cow reviews. A Green Mango salad had been on my mind for the past week - so was delighted to find it on the menu and it was yummy. My husband enjoyed a bowl of Tom Yum soup. Pretty standard Thai fare with a few vegan choices for an enjoyable lunch.
We just stumbled upon this place and will definitely be back. Great waitress, great food, great view!!

Not good. Second time ordering takeout and will be my last. Not worth the price. Crispy garlic chicken was made with tiny pieces of chicken that had more breading than meat. It was incredibly dry and salty. Like they accidentally used way too much of something. Not edible. Spring roll rice wrap was hard and lettuce had slimy brown spots. 40 bucks waisted. Felt like I was robbed when I got home and tried to eat.

Great food. I highly recommend the Tom Kah chicken soup or the garlic chicken. Minus 1 star for overpricing.

Food is very good, but they don’t always have what you order and you can expect to wait at least 20 minutes longer than they share with you on line. We ordered stir fried lo mein and went to pick up at 6;07pm. Received a call at 6:00 saying they were out and how about a substitution? We got fried rice from their recommendation and it was OK. Two weeks before went to pick up and had to wait another 20 minutes because order was not ready. Seems to me that they cannot manage their success. Open to go back to Family Thai and see how they are doing

Service was good and atmosphere. However as a chef, food was not from scratch as most was from purchased bases. Our chicken dish was obviously frozen breaded chicken, not Thai seasoning which was put in a Thai sauce. I should have refused to pay for. Disappointed for the price. Sorry, I don’t often write reviews, prove a change and I’ll change my review.

Best Thai food in town by far. The owners have a great story you need to hear and the food is amazingly authentic...according to this guy who's only experience is loving asian cuisine in the PNW since a child.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with cool pictures of coast guard helicopters on the walls. Ask about the owners story!
Wheelchair accessibility: Street parking but no stairs on property

Don't trust the menu, they haven't updated it in months, they no longer carry the Namtok salad that is posted online and on their menu they give you, how frustrating!
The beef salad I did order reminded me of bland Chinese food rather than the full flavor Thai food I am used to.
You have a view to soothe you as you eat, that is the only reason to go here, in my opinion. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

This is an amazing restaurant, one of the best Thai places I've been to in the Tacoma/Gig Harbor area. I'm a huge Pad See Ewe fan, but their Massaman curry is to-die-for, as well. If you're a Thai aficionado, you'll absolutely love this place. Not to mention, the spectacular waterfront views that come with the scrumptious food and excellent service.

We ordered takeout on a Monday when many restaurants close and it was the perfect comfort food on a rainy day...good portions, flavor and service. We look forward to returning to dine in!
I will suggest go lower than usual on the numbers for spice as they really are pretty intense. We like it spicy and went #1 on pad thai and #2 on yellow chicken curry, deliciosa!!

View great, service good
Food average — tasted a bit greasy and delivered in few minutes which I question its freshness
Worst part was screen on window broken so had flies hovering over food and our table
