It's always nice to find vegan options outside of larger cities. I drive up to Gig Harbor from Portland every 6 months for Oncology at MultiCare. I found this restaurant thanks to Happy Cow reviews. A Green Mango salad had been on my mind for the past week - so was delighted to find it on the menu and it was yummy. My husband enjoyed a bowl of Tom Yum soup. Pretty standard Thai fare with a few vegan choices for an enjoyable lunch.
Food is very good, but they don’t always have what you order and you can expect to wait at least 20 minutes longer than they share with you on line. We ordered stir fried lo mein and went to pick up at 6;07pm. Received a call at 6:00 saying they were out and how about a substitution? We got fried rice from their recommendation and it was OK. Two weeks before went to pick up and had to wait another 20 minutes because order was not ready. Seems to me that they cannot manage their...
Best Thai food in town by far. The owners have a great story you need to hear and the food is amazingly authentic...according to this guy who's only experience is loving asian cuisine in the PNW since a child.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with cool pictures of coast guard helicopters on the walls. Ask about the owners story!
