Ahhhh the hi yu. Stale beer smell and sticky bar. Classic dive of the Harbor. Love it. Don't go for breakfast on the weekends. Understaffed and poor service. Decent food when you get it. I just had her leave pitchers of water and ice tea since we saw her once a leap year because she was always chatting over by her computer with the guys at the bar. Didn't bother me. You don't go to the hi yu for quality. Heidi was a great bartender Friday night for a few drinks. Always love seeing her. Keep your expectations low and your smile on.

My husband and brother in law always want to go here after golf, but I'm a holdout! The food is good but the service is the worst. Our waitress, Sam, is never pleasant...she has a permanent frown on her face. I always dread she'll be the one waiting on us.

Pretty normal. A bit noisy with the hardwood all around. Not many here in early afternoon. Parking seemed plenty.

I ate here with my parents and my brother and everything we had was excellent. I got the Hy Iu burger with gorgonzola medium rare and it was delicious and cooked to perfection! The fries were also surprisingly really good! Not just frozen fries thrown into the fryer.

My dad got the French Dip sandwich and that was also great.

Finally, we got excellent service from Genie. She was friendly and fast with how she helped us.

Quick food spot with pull tabs, pool tables, darts, and shuffleboard. Food was decent for bar style food. We had appetizers. You might want to try their pizzas since they say they make their own sauce.

If you want to stand in line for 45 plus minutes for a drink and food this is your place. Servers are awful, miserable, and treat you like a chore. We eventually got our food and weren’t surprised it was cold, meat had to have been past expiration date and the water taste was faucet water. Family is taking over the bathroom from this. Avoid the overpriced spoiled meat and take your family elsewhere. We do not make reviews we are visiting from NYC

Great place except for the customers who block the handicap accessible ramp.

The sampler appetizer was decent, but the rest of the meal was disappointing. After the appetizer, our waitress seemed to forget about us. We ordered two main entrees, both rubbery and cold. Even the pizza we ordered to go was undercooked and unappetizing. Sadly, I can’t recommend this place.

Much more than a dive bar. Food very good. Beer cold. Service reliable and responsive. Calzone was a 2 thumbs up surprise. Order with confidence.

Best place to get food after 9pm in Gig Harbor. Also good for watching sports.
The pizza is the best option food wise.

Great place! It's rustic and has a very much pub feel. Super busy, so service was slow. Food was excellent!
