The hy is an amazing clean dive bar with really good bar food. Been going here for 30 years now. Still great.

If you want to stand in line for 45 plus minutes for a drink and food this is your place. Servers are awful, miserable, and treat you like a chore. We eventually got our food and weren’t surprised it was cold, meat had to have been past expiration date and the water taste was faucet water. Family is taking over the bathroom from this. Avoid the overpriced spoiled meat and take your family elsewhere. We do not make reviews we are visiting from NYC

Great place except for the customers who block the handicap accessible ramp.

The sampler appetizer was decent, but the rest of the meal was disappointing. After the appetizer, our waitress seemed to forget about us. We ordered two main entrees, both rubbery and cold. Even the pizza we ordered to go was undercooked and unappetizing. Sadly, I can’t recommend this place.

Much more than a dive bar. Food very good. Beer cold. Service reliable and responsive. Calzone was a 2 thumbs up surprise. Order with confidence.

Best place to get food after 9pm in Gig Harbor. Also good for watching sports.
The pizza is the best option food wise.

Great place! It's rustic and has a very much pub feel. Super busy, so service was slow. Food was excellent!

We visit area every year for summer. It’s one of our favorite food establishments, because it has such a variety on their menu. They cook up a great rack of ribs, fish and chips and hamburgers. We sat in the patio to keep our pet with us and the waitress brought him a burger patty. That made us like them even more!

My favorite dive bar in Gig Harbor. Lots of screens and a hopping bar.

I’ve been to my fair share of bars, but this one takes the cake for being the least friendly place I’ve ever stepped foot into. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was more of a nuisance than a customer. The staff barely acknowledged my presence, and when they did, it was with cold, uninterested expressions.

Ordering a drink felt like pulling teeth—the bartender acted like I was inconveniencing them by simply asking for a menu. Once I finally got my drink, there was zero hospitality, no “thank you” or basic courtesy, just a dismissive attitude that made me feel unwelcome.

the atmosphere in the bar was equally uninviting. It felt like everyone was in a bad mood, from the staff to the few patrons who looked just as uncomfortable as I felt.

I don’t expect much from a bar, but common courtesy and a friendly environment should be a given. Unfortunately, this place lacked both. If you're looking for a good time or even just a decent drink in a pleasant setting, I recommend steering clear of this bar. You'll find friendlier service and a warmer atmosphere pretty much anywhere

Friendly tavern with good food, drinks, and a patio seating area.
There's a Happy Hour menu as well.
Children are welcome in the dining areas.
As far as I know the HH is from 3-6 p m.

Parking: Parking in the lot can be a bit difficult during peak times.

Food is good servers were not very friendly I felt rushed to order but I love the vibe there especially for game days. Biggest problem is paying 9 dollars for a very small amount for the kids menu
