Love your rack of lamb are u serving it today on Easter Sunday?
The traditional Italian food is really good, freshly prepared and nicely presented. The view is outstanding, indoors and out, and the staff is excellent.

Delightfully delicious. We had reservation for 5 pm. Everyone's entrées were perfectly cooked. Two of us had the specials. I had the aurora sauce option on my Pasta Pescatore which was brimming with an assortment of shellfish and fish. My husband had the 10 oz. Steak, which was accompanied with a delicious herb sauce. This restaurant is a hidden gem, complete with a waterfront view of Purdy Spit.
Parking: The parking lot can be quite full, but not impossible to find a spot. Lines are worn out and some are difficult to see.

Gluten free options! Excellent food. Good service. Friendly people. Nice view of the sound from most if not all dinner tables. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Every community should be so lucky as to have as treasured a restaurant as Massimo's! Wonderful, consistent, delicious food with enjoyable service and an outstanding beach-front view. The owner, hailing from Sicily, Italy, creates a friendly, inviting atmosphere while preparing some of the most fabulous dishes you have ever eaten, all at a price point that lets you take the entire family to dinner without breaking the bank (pasta Alfredo w/chicken for $18.00 at this writing). Massimo's is amazing, it fills up fast so plan ahead or make a reservation!

Went here for a quick dinner on the road. We got the spaghetti and the penne granchio. Penne was delicious but spaghetti was average. Waiter was friendly and chatty and serving time was very reasonable. We sat outside where there was a lovely view of the water.

Alcohol drinks are sub par, watery Manhattan and average wine. Eggplant park seemed to be deep fried and not pan fried.

The staff and our amazing server were patient, accommodating, and fantastic. The food was fantastic, and it's right on the water. This was my view, and my wife's was even better. A real treat, and with an amazingly priced menu. For the top tier quality I was blown away at the modest bill. It's probably new favorite restaurant.

If I could leave a ZERO I would! I have never eaten here and definitely will never eat here. I went on a Sunday night, around 6:15ish. Might I remind you they close at 8:00pm on Sundays. I walk in, 2 gentleman in front of me. The hostess seats them and comes back to greet me. She was friendly, so at least they have that. I proceed to tell her I would like to place a takeout order. "Chicken Parm and spaghetti vongole" She says "I need to check with the kitchen if he can do a takeout order?" WHAT!!?? Okay?! She came back and said the kitchen said NO takeout orders! WOW! I've never walked into a restaurant and been denied for a takeout order. Again, I have never eaten here and will never! What restaurant denies an order?!!! Oh, I'm sorry THIS ONE DOES!! Thanks!
To the owner that responded to my review. You're hostess said that she had to check with the chef! And a quote from her " I'll have to check with the chef if he can do takeout orders?' She did her job!!! No fault on her!! But still, I have never been turned down for a take out order! If your chef, would have said an hour or more wait, that should of been my choice as a customer. I wasn't given that choice. I was turned away immediately. I understand the situations and that you explained to me. But, if I was to dine in, I wouldn't have been turned away? Correct???!!!! That is the problem with my experience!!!
