Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

I have always loved going to Menchies, specifically the one by the Tacoma mall. I have tried the Gig Harbor Menchies just a few times. Each time I have been slightly disappointed by the lack of flavor options, however, this last visit 7 of the 14 options were broken. Not only that, but multiple of the toppings were broken. I am extremely disappointed in this location.

Visited Saturday at about 4:00. So maybe it had been hit hard but I really don't think there's any excuse for how dirty the doormat and the floors were. We did mention a big spill of frozen yogurt on the floor and the only employee that we saw cleaned it up right away.

It was so dirty in there the bathrooms were 🤮 disgusting chairs and tables were dirty and sticky! Needs a serious cleaning! Really disappointed!!!

Great fro yo here and conveniently spaced for a nice desert after a meal at any other close by restaurant. 10/10 would go again

The skinny little girl that took out the trash Sunday August 25th at 8:58 p.m. is very rude. The store did not close until 9:00 p.m. but she told me I could not go inside and get yogurt even though it was a minute before they close. I could have literally been out of there within a minute to get my yogurt. I drove 20 minutes and then she would not let me go in. She was taking the trash out and I said I'm just going to go in real quick and she said nope you know you're not. So rude

Employees locked doors and didn’t serve us 15 minutes before closing. Not a good look.

This used to be a great place to take our kids, but it has become a disappointment the last few visits. We were asked to move to an inside table at 7:45 when they close at 9, so they could clean up the outside seating. It was 75* out. By the time we left, it was standing room only as there were so many people in the building. The floor was disgusting and sticky. The tables and chairs were covered in months of dirt and grime and also sticky. The bathroom had obviously not been cleaned in weeks and had a layer of sludge around the sink and urine all over the toilet. We watched people walk up and see the staff cleaning up and thought they were closed and walk away. We've had a few bad customer service experiences here, but this time, the worst part was the cleanliness.

Friday. Gig Harbor location. Online says closes at 10pm. Got there at 9pm and doors are locked. Crappy. Haven't been in awhile. Doubt we'll be back.

Why is this the ONLY Menchies that DOESN'T have discounted Friday's??? I look for excuses to cross the bridge to justify paying the toll & taking my family to the Tacoma Menchies location for this reason.

I love the fro yo here. I crave the original tart. But I do want to say this place is the perfect example of tip culture being out of hand. You literally serve yourself and then they ask you for a tip. They should be embarrassed about asking.
