I love this little store. If eating healthy was a place, this is it.
Always interesting
Spendy, stop by Hatbor greens for produce prices before you head in here. Exact same berry producer product comes in 6 pack at harbor greens, but only 4 at Met. Difference of 3 dollars. Was very dissapointed but saved on other things. Also check fred Meyer cherries were on sale same exact brand $2-3 less per pound with digital coupon. That being said Met has, a great selection of yummy ready to eat foods better option then fast food. Always a clean store and bathrooms. And they sell ice blocks in different sizes loads of ice and blocks.
I really enjoyed the poke bar!!!
Really nice local market with great produce, bakery, meat counter, and wine selection. And lots more. Staff is really helpful and friendly.
Great grocery store if you can afford the high prices. Some of the worst grocery store sushi I've ever had though. Honestly tastes like bland weird plastic and the color looks like those artificially colored glow in the dark fishes you see in pet stores.
Way way way overpriced for mediocre quality
Expensive, overrated & rude staff
EXPENSIVE, but GOOD. Love Metro Gig Harbor, and Proctor
The best selection of fresh and pre-made food to go. We always stop here as we travel through. A little more expensive, but it makes sense.

Bought chicken breast in the deli to eat for dinner since the holiday parade blocked access to Fondi last weekend. The chicken was dry and little to zero seasoning. Reheating was out of the questions as it would’ve been even more dry. Disappointed is an understatement. Parking lot is not as bad as Tacoma’s, but still a hot mess of rudeness. For the prices, the food should be better.
A huge assortment of food and household products in a huge space, although not very neatly distributed in the store. The prices are somewhat high.
Best quality in the state!
Resident of Gig Harbor. Ordered groceries thru the app but had to stop into the store to pick up my holiday order. Since I was already in the store, I figured I could save the staff a trip by coming in to pick up my items. When I went to the online order pick up kiosk after my holiday order check out, I encountered a young gal who rolled her eyes and looked at me in disdain for asking if I could pick up my order in store. Told her I had already notified the app that I was in route and I could save her a trip to the parking lot. Seriously, I primarily order thru online apps and have never evoked such a response for picking up in store if plans changed. Additionally, she then asked me if my order was under a foreign name she was working on at the time. To assume that I, not being 'Caucasian', had a last name other than my last name was offensive... racially offensive. Highly disturbed by this encounter. I have shopped here plenty of times but this was my first and may be my last online order they the Met. Thinking the trip to Whole Foods may have resulted in a better outcome.
Wow!!!! The Cioppino in the Deli was Fine Restaurant quality. I am going back and serve as a course for New Years.
The store is wonderfully and artfully well supplied in general.
The employees are exceptional and super friendly.
