Morso is a hidden gem in Gig Harbor. This upscale wine bar on the water is the perfect spot for a date night or girls night. The menu is hand crafted with local ingredients and the service is top notch! My mushroom chicken pasta was delectable and I think I would eat the baked goat cheese appetizer every day of my life. I highly recommend stopping in here!

Aside from the beautiful, welcoming setting, they are thoroughly accommodating of allergies and dietary restrictions. They are transparent with their meals and cooking process, prioritizing natural, local, thoughtfully sourced ingredients.Dietary restrictions: My sister opted for wild salmon salad, without canola oil, gluten, or diary.

Every one in our party had a great meal. The menu is limited but what they have was outstanding. I particularly liked the meatball sandwich. Great view, too.

Morso is consistently good - better than good. They have a tight menu that changes seasonally, and every dish is polished and honed.Warm weather seating on the elevated deck overlooking the harbor is amazing. Also, don't miss browsing the retail wine selection in the side-room.Highly recommended.Parking: Parking cam get tight on the weekends, especially in summer.

I moved to Gig Harbor about two years ago and just stopped into Morso for the first time while meeting a friend for a cocktail. Or so I thought, It's a beer and wine only establishment, which was just fine!It was a frigid 25° outside, but sitting at the bar was toasty warm as I looked out over the Harbor and Mt Rainier. Beautiful views!I did not order food, so I will not include it in my review except to say that my friend ordered some. It looked and smelled delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive. They made me feel welcome. To my surprise, there was a small retail section within the restaurant selling a nice selection of wines ranging from $$ to $$$$ in price as well as a few other goods.I can't wait to return to try out the menu for myself. I shouldn't have waited so long to stop in.

Great food, NW/Italian fusion that isn’t too heavy. The menu rotates.

Never again. We went there last Friday, for the last time. We always walk away with the feeling that we paid too much for what we got, but seem to give them another chance. Not again. We went for lunch. Sat down, was greeted with a dirty fork. Fine, it happens. We ordered lunch and some wine. Food was decent, although $18 for a meatball sandwich was a bit much. Service was slow, request for things took a while. Also, when looking at the wine selection, we saw a red for $12 a glass. The entire bottle costs $12.99. What??When it came time for dessert, we decided to share a port. It turned out that the port we wanted ($13) was no longer available, so we opted for our second choice ($17), which he said would be given at the $13 price. When the bill came, it didn't come to realization later that we were charged for both. Yes, it's our fault that we didn't catch it, but it should not have happened in the first place. There have been just too many times of feeling like we weren't satisfied at the end of the experience to justify going back. Sadly, because we like the view, the ambiance.

We were a group of 6, and to be polite, getting a table was a bit of a problem. We were even told that there was no guarantee that they would be open if it wasn't busy enough. In any case, we got the table we reserved, and they were open. The food was great. We had several dishes, two of which are below. Beet salad, chicken special, a burger dish, two clam dishes, and clam chowder, salmon cakes, and gnocchiWe had water, beer, and wine. All great. But one of our clam meals arrived late, somehow the waiter forgot how many clam dishes we ordered, even after he repeated our order.I dinged them on the atmosphere because we thought we would have moderately quiet dinner. One nearby table was very loud, and it made it difficult to hear our own conversation at our table.Oh, and they are a bit pricey.

We will never go back .They let us in, sat us down and said “you can’t stay long because we are having a party in 2 hours” then they were unfriendly and ignored & rushed us while they prepared for the party. If they didn’t want us to come in they should have closed.Bad experience.

The Cacio e Pepe is the best I've had in the area. Everything I've had here has been at least 4/5 stars. There really isn't anything like it in Gig Harbor and the views are spectacular.

Limited but very appealing menu. The menu changes periodically, so don't rely on the website menu. This place has great outdoor seating with a harbor view when weather permits. My only complaint is that it was noisy, the result of lousy acoustics.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm sure there must be wheelchair access, but patrons must usually descend a substantial outside stairs to enter.
